This role combines strong hands-on engineering - architecture, coding, testing, cloud/DevOps - with mentorship, design judgment, and the responsible use and oversight of AI-assisted development tools.\nDevelops expertise in the Pricefx ecosystem, understand platform capabilities and best practices, and contributes to the design and delivery of scalable, maintainable pricing solutions on Pricefx platform.\nSome flexibility in daily schedule may be expected, on an as-needed basis, to allow for reasonable working-hour overlap with global colleagues, supporting collaboration across regions including North America and Europe.\nKey Responsibilities\nTechnical Delivery & Architecture\nApply OOP/SOLID principles, design patterns, and data structures & algorithms confidently, and guide juniors on the same - with a focus on code maintainability and readability. Actively contribute to design discussions and code reviews, helping prioritize vulnerability and quality fixes.\nApply secure programming practices and leverage approved frameworks/libraries to build efficient, secure software. Use AI coding assistants confidently for generation, debugging, and refactoring, and guide juniors on responsible usage, output validation, and AI's limitations.\nInterpret functional, non-functional, and business requirements across development, testing, and operations; build strong understanding of the team's business domain and enterprise architecture patterns to explain solution trade-offs clearly.\nDesign and implement features that integrate approved AI services, understanding cost, latency, and model trade-offs; stay open to learning new languages, frameworks, and tools as team needs evolve.\nDevelop and maintain solutions on the Pricefx SaaS platform using the Pricefx application framework, configuring and extending platform capabilities to meet business requirements.\nComplete Pricefx training and successfully obtain the Pricefx Configuration Engineer certification, building expertise in the Pricefx application framework and platform capabilities.\nDelivery, Quality & Operations\nManage version control and branching practices, and operate proficiently within the team's project methodology (Scrum, Kanban etc.); support release management planning and scheduling.\nDrive code quality - implementing best practices, guiding peers, and participating in reviews - while writing effective unit/integration tests and delivering solutions with minimal production defects. Hold AI-generated code and tests to the same review rigor as human-written work.\nPerform root cause analysis independently, resolving issues from straightforward through medium complexity, using approved monitoring tools (e.g., DataDog, CloudWatch).\nContribute comfortably to DevOps and cloud tasks, remediate vulnerabilities using approved security tooling, and integrate cloud services with an understanding of cost, security, and performance trade-offs.\nPeople & Stakeholder Management\nCommunicate clearly and constructively, verbally and in writing, maintaining transparent two-way communication within the team; actively participate in ceremonies and planning, including accurate task estimation.\nSupport task planning and mentor junior members -
