Please note that the number of days on-site can increase based on business needs.\nJob Summary:\nPrivate Cloud Operations (PCO) is responsible for the design and operations of Sysco’s Data Center and Operating Sites (OpSite) compute/storage/backup worldwide in support of the company’s strategic and resilient backbone. We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Manager Private Cloud division. As the Senior Manager of Private Cloud, you will lead teams responsible for delivering services in a private cloud data center environment. This will also include guiding the M&A/Integration teams during the discovery phase activities. This includes overseeing Edge Compute, Nutanix & wmWare, DC Compute, DC Networking (SAN/Management/LAN), DC Storage (EMC), and Backup (CyberVault). To be successful this person is expected to have strong planning and project management experience and will be executing multiple, complex projects in a variety of areas within your domain and geographically as well. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and possess strong leadership skills, we invite you to join our innovative team shaping the future of private cloud services.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nLead and manage teams responsible for Edge Compute, Nutanix, DC Compute, DC Storage, and Backup services.\nFoster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.\nManage, train, and delegate to promote high-performing teams.\nOversee the delivery of services within a private cloud data center.\nEnsure efficient and effective operations of Edge Compute, Nutanix, DC Compute, DC Storage, and Backup services.\nUtilize project management experience by overseeing the delivery of private cloud services globally, ensuring high redundancy, DR standards, and effective utilization.\nProvide technical leadership for teams that are experts in Nutanix & vmWare, DC Compute, DC Storage (SAN/NAS), Backup (Cybervault), Cisco networking and fiber channel.\nStay abreast of industry trends and advancements in private cloud technologies.\nDevelop and execute strategic plans for Private Cloud services, aligning with organizational goals and identifying the correct mix of technologies to provide excellent cost-effective services.\nDrive initiatives for continuous improvement and efficiency in service delivery.\nCollaborate with clients to understand their needs and expectations.\nEnsure high levels of client satisfaction through the effective delivery of private cloud services.\nEducation Required:\nBachelor's degree with an IT, Management or Engineering focus\nEducation Preferred:\nBachelor’s degree in computer information systems with a focus on management, and business operations.\nExperience Required:\n7-10 years\nExperience Preferred:\nProven experience in leading IT-based teams responsible for Server, backup, and/or storage delivery in private cloud environments.\nStrong understanding of Server, storage, network and compute technologies in a collocated or private cloud environment.\nPrevious experience in strategic planning and execution of private cloud initiatives.\nTechnical Skills and Abilities:\n5+ years of team and people management experience.\n5+ years of experience in the Data Center design, operations, and hardware lifecycle management.\nExcellent vendor management and engagement expertise.\n3+ years Data center management, monitoring, metrics, and dashboards\nAdvanced knowledge in IT infrastructure operations, configurations, tools, and service processes used within DC operations.\nAdvanced experience in Configuration Management over IT assets and components by maintaining information about the configuration items, including hardware documentation and data center facilities.\nExperience of managing cross-functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners as part of daily responsibility. \nMaintain Documentation & Flow Process.\nExperience in a diverse DC environments (> 10 sites).\nPossess a high degree of professionalism, customer service, and dependable.\nAbility to apply a comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of technical concepts, practices, and procedures. \nSolid written and verbal communication.\nIntermediate to Advanced Excel skills.\nMust present exceptional leadership, problem solving, decision making, and time management skills.\nAbility to work in a remote capacity.\nAbility to work in a team environment.\nPhysical Demands:\nReasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.\nTravel Requirements:\nRegular\nWork Environment:\nFast paced team environment with a high level of communication.\nBENEFITS INFORMATION:\nFor information on Sysco’s Benefits, please visit https://SyscoBenefits.comOVERVIEW:\nSysco is the global leader in foodservice distribution.
