If that sounds like you, then apply today.\nKey Accountabilities:\nCo-ordination of all depot activities ensuring the smooth running of depot\nSupporting efficient dispatch of all routes and products to customers on a daily basis\nCoaching and motivating members of the delivery team\nAnalysing the performance of drivers by accompanying them on their routes\nEnsuring delivery procedures and policies are adhered to at all times\nEffectively liaising with sales, transport, and operation departments to resolve all issues in a timely manner\nEnsuring equipment breakdown and repairs are minimised and reported\nSupporting shift manager in ensuring that company vehicles are properly maintained, cleaned and safely operated to reduce accidents and enhance the company brand\nInvolved in identifying, coordinating training as appropriate to meet driver needs\nEnsuring the premises are maintained to the highest standards\nSupporting Security and Health & Safety Procedures relevant to site\nLeading by example and applying company policy and procedures in a fair, consistent and unbiased manner\nSupporting absence management, investigation and disciplinaries\nOffice Admin responsibilities\nRequirements:\nExperience in a relevant supervisory role in a high volume, technology driven, time sensitive distribution operation\nExperience within the Food distribution industry is advantageous\nMust possess a full Drivers Licence\nCompetent in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word\nGood understanding of the Department of Transport regulations (Tachograph legislation, Work Time Directive etc.)\nAbility to influence a team to deliver the highest standards of service Ability to plan and organise your own and your teams work activities in a safe, efficient and effective manner\nAbility to analyse, interpret and explain and present relevant business data\nFluent English - reading and writing\nStrong knowledge of the surrounding geographical area\nFlexible approach to working hours\nCore Competencies\nUnderstanding Your Customers - acts as a role model in personal approach to internal and external customer goals.
