Factors that may be used to determine your actual rate of pay include your specific skills, years of experience and other factors.\nYou may be eligible to participate in the Company's Incentive Plan.BENEFITS INFORMATION:\nFor information on Sysco’s Benefits, please visit https://SyscoBenefits.com$22.26+/hour\nMon-Thu 2:00pm - 12:00am; possible OT as needed\nJOB SUMMARY\nResponsible for receiving, stocking, preparation and shipping of merchandise to customers in local and outlying areas.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nAccurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot and confirm the correct quantity and unit of measure.\nLoad Merchandise into appropriate truck.\nDrop merchandise for \"reserve\" to \"pick\" slots.\nPrepare VIA merchandise for shipment on freight lines.\nRepack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery.\nVerify quality of product, packaging and adherence to vendor compliance policy.\nAccurately adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard, “Preferred Method Standard”.\nIdentify and report slot and put-away problems.\nShrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as needed.\nPerforms housekeeping duties as assigned.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nRequired:\nAbility to operate forklift/pallet jack and cherry picker; ability to lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly each shift. \nAbility to bend, stoop, climb, stand and twist for extended periods of time.\nAbility to successfully complete forklift training/certification requirements.\nAbility to operate Voice to Pick System or Radio Frequency (RF) system. \nPreferred:\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent. \nPrevious knowledge of SAP\nOne year warehouse experience and previous forklift certification.\nPhysical Demand\nThe physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
