Factors that may be used to determine rate of pay include specific skills, work location, work experience and other individualized factors\n$21.95/hour\nSun-Thu 11:00am - 8:00pm or finished, up to 4 hours/day OT mandatory\nSUMMARY\nResponsible for receiving, stocking, preparation and shipping of merchandise to customers in local and outlying areas.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES\nAccurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot and confirm the correct quantity and unit of measure. \nLoad Merchandise into appropriate truck. \nDrop merchandise for \"reserve\" to \"pick\" slots. \nPrepare VIA merchandise for shipment on freight lines. \nRepack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery. \nVerify quality of product, packaging and adherence to vendor compliance policy. \nAccurately adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard, “Preferred Method Standard”. \nIdentify and report slot and put-away problems. \nShrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as needed. \nPerforms house keeping duties as assigned. \nPerform other duties as assigned. \nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES\nThe ideal Candidate will have ability to:\nOperate forklift/pallet jack and cherry picker.\nLift 40-60 pounds repeatedly each shift.\nBend, stoop, climb, stand and twist for extended periods of time.\nSuccessfully complete forklift training/certification requirements.\nOperate a Radio Frequency (RF) or Voice Pick devices.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT \nThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.\nJob is performed in a warehouse/operations environment. \nFrequently exposed to fast-moving material handling equipment or other mechanical equipment. \nThis is a full-time position. \nMust have the ability to work a varying schedule which might include shift work (days or nights), weekdays or weekends, and some holidays. \nWork hours may vary or change based on customer orders, departmental or business requirements. \nThe position does not require travel. \nBENEFITS INFORMATION:\nFor information on Sysco’s Benefits, please visit https://SyscoBenefits.comOVERVIEW:\nSysco is the global leader in foodservice distribution.
