The purpose of this document is to outline the nature of the work at this time.\nKey Accountabilities:\nMeet or exceed minimum efficiency levels established through engineered production standards. Requires working efficiently, proactively and Health and Safety conscious in a fast-paced warehouse environment \nMeet or exceed established accuracy levels \nDevelop a good working knowledge of product, placement, and inventory control techniques and procedures. \nHygiene in your department and good housekeeping \nYour attendance at work \nHealth and Safety of yourself and others around you \nEnsuring that you keep good relationships with your team members \nReporting damages, accidents and issues relating to Food Safety \nDesirable Criteria:\nPrevious experience receipting inbound orders via use of a WMS systems \nWorking knowledge of all inbound warehouse activities \nReach truck licence either current or previously held - training will be provided \nRequirements:\nFlexibility to adjust shifts/start times to suit business needs \nReceive orders within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures, including Dry, Cooler, and Freezer \nTo label and intake products in accordance with inbound procedures \nStack product on pallets in accordance with proper procedures \nOperate an electric power pallet truck or forklift to transport product \nStage pallets for loading on proper bay locations. \nAlways follow Sysco preferred work methods, and immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe conditions. \nFollow procedures to comply with HACCP policy. \n To ensure the Warehouse is kept in a safe clean and hygienic manner \nSafely operate all assigned equipment, including but not limited to mechanical handling equipment, arm mounted terminal and handheld devices \nPerform pre- and post-trip inspections paperwork, and safely operate all mechanical equipment. \nShrink-wrap product on loading dock \nTo perform counts and inventory integrity \nTo load/unload trucks using MHE \nMust be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the business, as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations \nOther duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to you by your manager \nCore Competencies:\nUnderstanding Your Customers - acts as a role model in personal approach to internal and external customer goals.
