Direct team of employees and provide leadership and assistance with the daily operations to meet all daily objectives. Assist employees with exceptions and problem resolution. Perform\nwarehouse duties including but not limited to:\nUnloading and loading of shipments\n\nPut away and replenishment\n\nReceiving a selection of products\n\nItem demand/count checks\n\nCommunicate any issues or suggestions to Supervisor\n\nTrain and assess new employees and re-train as necessary\n\nEnsure all employees are performing duties accurately and efficiently\n\nAssist management with safety initiatives\n\nAssist management with other duties as needed\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation\nHigh School Diploma or GED required\nExperience\n2-5 years’ warehouse experience, including strong knowledge of Import/Export receiving and shipping and inventory control processes, procedures and practices\nMust be familiar with related OSHA regulations\nSkills & Abilities\nExcellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and professional interactive skills are necessary to perform at a high degree of proficiency\n\nAbility to effectively write and present information/reports and respond to questions from suppliers, customers, management and inter-department staff\n\nCapable of working with internal staff from other departments in a proactive and constructive manner\n\nStrong leadership skills, including the ability to mentor and develop individuals and teams\n\nAble to engage and lead team discussions and meetings\n\nUnderstands team dynamics and works well within a team structure\n\nCollaborative management style and a strategic team player\n\nDelegates responsibilities effectively\n\nAble to understand team dynamics and work well within a team structure\n\nCapable of working with associates from other departments and shifts in a proactive and constructive manner\n\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply & divides into all units of measure\n\nCompute rate, ratio, and percent\n\nAble to use whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals\n\nAbility to understand and execute all relevant policies and procedures in a consistent, timely and objective manner\n\nAbility to read, follow and execute all safety guidelines in the warehouse\n\nCustomer Service - Respond promptly to requests for service and assistance as needed.
