This is a day shift role with a starting rate of €14+ per hour and opportunities for overtime. Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential as full training is provided.\nWhy work for Sysco?\n€14.64 p/h \nWith an increase after 12 months\nWellness day \nService days \nDiscounted staff sales \nEAP \nExpert Training & Development \nKey Accountabilities:\nHand Selection of orders within multi-temperature environments (Ambient, Cooler and Freezer chambers) \nMeet or exceed minimum efficiency and accuracy levels \nFollow Health & Safety, Food Safety, Hygiene and Operational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies \nFollow Manual Handling, Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and any other, role relevant, training (full training will be provided) \nMaintain and safely operate all assigned equipment, including but not limited to mechanical handling equipment, arm mounted terminal \nPerform any other general warehousing duties as assigned \nRequirements:\n2 years previous Warehouse experience , full 2-4-week induction and training programme provided \nHigh reach Truck Experience Highly desirable \nAvailability for 5 over 7 days working week (weekends included), ability to work different shift patterns and overtime when required \nA team player with the ability to work to deadlines in the fast-paced environment \nMust be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the business, as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations \nHigh level of productivity and accuracy with a safety conscious mindset \nNo public transport available to/from depot - own transport advisable \nCore Competencies:\nUnderstanding Your Customers - acts as a role model in personal approach to internal and external customer goals.
