This is the senior tooling and\nidentity specialist role in the Cyber Security team under our 2026 operating\nmodel: you own the design, deployment and health of the security tooling estate\nacross our managed clients, with PAM as your deepest expertise.\nBeyond\nCyberArk, the role carries breadth across the modern security stack: hands-on\nexperience with Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA) and working capability across EDR, SIEM,\nvulnerability management and the wider cyber product set we operate for\nclients.\nYou will report\nto the Cyber Operations Lead and work closely with the SOC engineers, the\nPre-sales Security Consultant and the Platform & Infrastructure teams.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nCyberArk & privileged access management\n·Own CyberArk design, deployment\nand operation across managed clients: vaulting, session management, secrets\nmanagement and privileged threat analytics.\n·Design PAM onboarding\nprogrammes for new clients: discovery, scoping, policy design and rollout.\n·Integrate PAM with the wider\nidentity stack: Entra ID, conditional access, MFA and just-in-time access\npatterns.\n·Set privileged access standards\nand evidence them for client audits (ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus).\nSecurity tooling & engineering\n·Deploy, configure and maintain\nthe security tooling estate: EDR, SIEM integrations, vulnerability scanning and\nemail security.\n·Support Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA)\ndeployment and policy work alongside the zero trust leads.\n·Own tooling health: version\ncurrency, coverage gaps, tuning quality and integration reliability.\n·Automate deployment and\noperational tasks with scripts and APIs; contribute to the shared automation\nlibrary.\nService & quality\n·Act as senior escalation for\nidentity and tooling incidents; support major incident response.\n·Document designs, runbooks and\nstandards to a level the wider team can operate from.\n·Contribute tooling and PAM\nexpertise to service reviews and solution scoping when needed.\n·Adopt AI-assisted workflows for\ndiagnostics, configuration review and documentation.\nExperience\n·5+ years in security\nengineering with 2+ years of hands-on CyberArk design and administration (PAM\nSelf-Hosted or Privilege Cloud).\n·Experience deploying or\noperating Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA) and at least two of: EDR platforms, SIEM,\nvulnerability management, email security.\n·Strong scripting capability\n(PowerShell or Python) applied to security tooling automation and integration.\n·MSP/MSSP or multi-client\nenvironment experience preferred; client audit exposure an advantage.\nCertifications\n·Essential (or equivalent\nhands-on experience): CyberArk Defender certification; CyberArk Sentry strongly\npreferred.\n·Desirable: CyberArk Guardian,\nZscaler professional-level certification (ZIA/ZPA), Microsoft SC-300, SC-200,\nAZ-500, or EDR vendor certifications.\nBenefits\nWhy Join Us?\nJoining Sysgroup means becoming part of a\ndynamic and innovative team that is dedicated to excellence.
