Reporting to the Director of AI, the role operates within a forward-looking engineering team focused on embedding AI capabilities and delivering innovation across Syspro’s evolving product suite, ensuring solutions are robust, maintainable, and enterprise-grade.Responsabilidades\nDesign and implement full-stack features across front-end and back-end layers of the Next Gen platform.\nWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in line with Syspro's engineering standards and style guides.\nBuild and consume RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs to support front-end functionality and third-party integrations.\nDevelop responsive, accessible user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks.\nImplement back-end services, business logic, and data access layers that meet performance and scalability requirements.\nIntegrate third-party services, cloud platform APIs, and AI/ML models into product features.\nImplement AI-driven capabilities as directed by the Director of AI, translating requirements into working software.\nEnsure AI feature implementations comply with Syspro's responsible AI principles and data privacy standards.\nWrite unit, integration, and end-to-end automated tests for all new and modified code.\nParticipate in peer code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain code quality.\nDiagnose and resolve defects, performance issues, and regressions in a timely manner.\nParticipate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.\nCommunicate technical trade-offs and complexity clearly to product managers and non-technical stakeholders.\nIdentify technical debt and propose practical remediation plans to the team.\nMaintain technical documentation for features, APIs, and architectural decisions.\nRequisitos\nMinimum Level of Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field\nBeneficial Qualifications \nHonours degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering; relevant cloud or AI/ML certifications (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)\nMinimum Experience3-5 years of professional full-stack software development experience\nProficiency in at least one modern front-end framework (e.g. React, Angular, or Vue.js)\nBack-end development experience using RESTful APIs and a server-side language such as C#/.NET Core, Node.js, or Python\nExperience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g. SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and version control using Git\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices\nBeneficial Experience\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum engineering teams\nExposure to AI or machine learning integration in software applications\nKnowledge of ERP systems or enterprise software development\nExperience with containerisation and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)\nFamiliarity with microservices architecture and event-driven systems\nSpecial Skills and KnowledgeStrong analytical and problem-solving ability;
