You will work closely with backend and product teams to design, migrate, and operate scalable NoSQL and graph-based data solutions that support complex domain relationships and high-performance workloads.\nYou will be part of the Platform Engineering Team, developing backend-focused platform services and enabling multiple product teams across the group.\n Design, implement, and operate NoSQL and graph database solutions as part of the central platform.\n\nTake technical ownership of graph data models and query patterns for complex, highly connected domains.\n\nPlan and execute migrations from relational or file-based data storage to NoSQL or graph databases.\n\nCollaborate closely with backend engineering teams to integrate database solutions into existing and new backend services.\n\nEvaluate and select appropriate NoSQL and graph database technologies for different product and platform use cases.\n\nEnsure performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability of database solutions in production.\n\nContribute to platform architecture decisions, technical standards, and best practices.\n\nSupport and enable product teams through reviews, guidance, and hands-on collaboration.\n\n Strong hands-on experience with NoSQL and or graph databases such as Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, MongoDB, or comparable technologies.\n\nSolid understanding of data modeling for graph and non-relational data stores.\n\nExperience in planning and executing database migration projects.\n\nGood understanding of backend software architectures and data access patterns.\n\nHands-on experience operating databases in cloud environments, preferably on AWS.\n\nAbility to work closely with distributed engineering teams and translate requirements into robust data solutions.\n\nAvailability to work with significant overlap to business hours in Germany (CET/CEST).\n\nFluent English skills are required;
