Ready to make an impact?\nThe job\nYou will be responsible for generating value from customer data within our established product, which underpins national security and critical infrastructure domains. Our customers are classified and cannot be disclosed, so your work will take place in secure environments, often in collaboration with Product teams, security teams and onsite at customer locations. As this is a newly established position, you will have the opportunity to help shape this role as it grows.\nIn short, you can look forward to:\nAnalysing and preparing customer data for use in our established product\nTraining, evaluating and refining machine learning models on customer data\nIntegrating models and data-driven features that generate measurable value\nExploring customer data to identify new opportunities for value creation\nCollaborating with security teams to ensure compliance with national classifications and profiles\nJoining the team\nYou will join an organisation where you will be associated with multiple teams, part of our NSI business unit. The organisation is highly collaborative, organised around Products that make a difference.\nIf you are located in Aarhus, we are open to discussing a hybrid arrangement, but you should expect regular presence in Copenhagen (6-8 days per month).\nYour qualifications\nWe are looking for a data scientist with hands-on experience applying machine learning to real-world data in production settings, who can work confidently in high-stakes, security-classified environments.\nRelevant technical education, Bachelor's or Master's, in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent experience\nDocumented experience with applied machine learning on real-world data\nSome hands-on experience with data science and machine learning in production settings\nStrong knowledge of Python, machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow), SQL and data processing tools\nFluent Danish and English skills\nA strong security mindset and ability to work in high-stakes environments\nAlongside this, we value:\nA collaborative and proactive work style\nComfortable working independently and navigating ambiguity, particularly as this is a newly established role\nDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities\nComfortable working onsite at customer environments when needed\nExpect travel activity to our HQ in Aarhus and to customer sites, primarily in Copenhagen.\nPlease note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO and/or an EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects.
