As the number of funds continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated Fund Accountant who is keen to learn, develop and contribute to the team. The successful candidate will support daily P&L, NAV, valuations, reconciliations and reporting, and will bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\nKey Responsibilities\nManage the daily P&L process, including the attribution of P&L by driver;\nProduce daily, weekly and monthly fund return estimates and attribution;\nSupport the full month-end close process, including:Adhering to the valuation source hierarchy and overall valuation policy;\nAssisting the administrator in obtaining independent confirmation of external valuations; and\nReconciling estimated NAV and P&L to final NAV and P&L.\n\nMonitor daily valuation changes to ensure that movements are consistent with market drivers;\nPrepare monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports for senior management, summarising P&L attribution, fund performance, key drivers, significant changes and any risks to business continuity;\nAssist with new business initiatives, fund launches, new products and new corporate structures;\nExternal reporting, including Assist with the preparation of annual audited financial statements; and\nAssist with the preparation and review of regulatory reporting, including Form PF and AIFMD reporting;\n\nInitiate and facilitate process improvements.\n General\nProvide day-to-day support to colleagues within the team and across the wider organisation;\nAny other duties commensurate with the post holder’s position and seniority; and\nAll employees should understand that it is their personal responsibility to comply with all organisational, statutory and regulatory policies and procedures.\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\nRelevant experience in fund accounting, product control or a related finance role, ideally within asset management or financial services\nExperience of NAV, P&L, reconciliations, valuations or financial reporting;\nAdvanced Excel skills and proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications;\nA proactive approach to process improvement; VBA experience would be advantageous;\nStrong analytical skills and attention to detail;\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n Educational & Professional Qualifications\nEducated to degree level or equivalent;\nStrong academic results in subjects relevant to the role; and\nNewly qualified, or close to completing a relevant professional qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.\nBenefits\nSystematica Investments provides you with excellent benefits from day 1.
