The ideal candidate must hold an active Government of Canada Reliability (Level I) security clearance. This is a 3-year contract with possibility for extension, expected to start upon contract award.\n\nAbout the Project\nThe objective of this requirement is to ensure the stability, continuous improvement, and modernization of the client’s SAP Workflows, Departmental Financial Signing Authority (DFSA) capabilities and various programs supporting the transformation efforts of the Finance and Procurement Sector, while strengthening internal capacity to operate and maintain these solutions.\n\nAbout the Responsibilities\n\nReview, enhance, and maintain SAP Workflow configurations in ECC 6.0.\n\nDesign, develop, implement, and support new and existing workflow solutions, forms, and reports based on business requirements.\n\nOptimize workflow processes, including Procurement, Taxi Tab, DFSA, Vendor Banking Information, and Acquisition Card workflows.\n\nAnalyze, document, configure, and integrate workflow requirements, translating business and functional needs into technical solutions.\n\nPrepare Functional Design, Technical Design, and Workflow Specification documentation.\n\nConduct unit and integration testing and provide ongoing production support and troubleshooting.\n\nCollaborate with ABAP, Security, and Authorization teams to resolve issues and manage user roles and access requirements.\n\nPromote reusable workflow components and establish operational and maintenance procedures.\n\nProvide architectural recommendations, alternative solutions, methodologies, and implementation strategies to support continuous improvement.\n\nModify the existing DFSA, including the modification and creation of reports and forms, as per client requirements. Changes anticipated include : Create a mass tool to update position information, additional reporting capability.\n\nProvide ongoing technical support for the Departmental Financial Signing Authority (DFSA) solution, including the Netweaver portal component;\n\nImplement and provide ongoing support for forms and reports developed to support DFSA processes;\n\nProvide ongoing support to the SAP team by providing guidance and analysis to resolve DFSA production issues encountered.\n\nProvide ABAP services to implement various changes required to support the modernization within the IRCC Finance Sector.\n\nDefine input/output sources, including a detailed plan for the technical design phase, and obtaining approval of system proposal from the Technical Authority;\n\nDocument system design and development, concepts and facilities, presenting and obtaining approval of detailed system design from the Technical Authority;\n\nProvide SAP design alternatives associated with the determination of application components as well as system-level objects;\n\nDefine and develop SAP system components, for the entire application;\n\nDesign COTS data structures and files, sub-systems and modules, programs, batch, online and production monitoring procedures, testing strategy and systems;\n\nDesign and develop detailed SAP customization specifications;\n\nTranslate detailed SAP customization specification into program code; and\n\nAnalyze and fix problems reported by the various test teams.\n\nAbout the Qualifications\n\nMinimum of 10 years of experience within the last 20 years working as an SAP ERP Technical Analyst.\n\nExperience as an ERP Programmer Analyst in SAP on at least 3 separate projects for the Government of Canada version of SAP ECC 6.0 or higher.\n\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in the last 15 years developing and supporting SAP NetWeaver Portal solutions.\n\nMinimum of 3 years of experience designing, configuring, developing, testing and supporting SAP Workflow solutions.\n\nMinimum of 9 years of experience developing low-level detailed requirements, programming, testing and systems development of ERP Systems.\n\nMinimum of 9 years of experience in translating ERP business requirements into systems design and specifications.\n\nMinimum of 9 years of experience in programming languages (e.g., Java/.Net, ABAP, SQL, e-Script) and middleware (e.g., Jaguar, Tomcat, Tuxedo, MSMQ, Oracle Portal, Citrix, MQ Series, Adobe, SSA-Name-III).\n\nExperience on at least 5 separate projects working with and setting up the SAP Portal. This includes the design, configuration, development, testing and support for the SAP Portal environment.\n\nMinimum of 9 years of experience with ABAP Web Dynpro for the design, development and testing of custom SAP applications.\n\nMinimum of 9 years of experience with JAVA development for the SAP Portal.\n\nExperience on at least 5 separate projects building SAP Workflow solutions to support custom application development using SAP Web Dynpro or FIORI\n\nMinimum of 9 years of experience with ABAP Programming in the development of workflow solutions.\n\nExperience on at least 3 separate projects with the support and maintenance of a Departmental Financial Signature Authority solution using the SAP HR module.\n\nCandidates must outline in detail how they meet the above requirements.\n\nPay Disclosure\n\nThe average hourly pay range for this field is as follows:\n\nJunior: 0–5 years of experience – $40-75/hr\n\nIntermediate: 6–9 years of experience – $60-100/hr\n\nSenior: 10+ years of experience – $90-150/hr\n\nCompensation is commensurate with these standards; exceptions may apply based on experience, skills, and market conditions.\n\nAI Disclosure\n\nWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) or other automated tools to support parts of our recruitment process.
