As part of an ongoing Network Services Consolidation program, the organization is working to standardize and modernize network infrastructure and security services across its global operations.\nThe successful candidate will take ownership of delivering established network transformation initiatives, beginning with a large-scale Zscaler rollout to onboard business units that have not yet transitioned to the enterprise service. Following this initial priority, the Project Manager will lead additional network consolidation and standardization projects as they progress into delivery.\nThe projects have already been scoped, so the emphasis is on hands-on project execution, stakeholder coordination, dependency management, and driving successful delivery, rather than initial project definition or strategy development.\nThis role requires a strong infrastructure and network transformation background, with the technical understanding necessary to work effectively with Network Architects, Engineers, Cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders.\n\nABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nLead the end-to-end delivery of enterprise network transformation, consolidation, and standardization initiatives.\nTake ownership of an established Network Services Consolidation workstream, ensuring projects progress efficiently from planning through implementation and operational handover.\nDrive the rollout of Zscaler enterprise services across business units and locations that have not yet completed their transition.\nDevelop and maintain detailed implementation plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.\nCoordinate business-unit and site readiness activities, including technical preparation, stakeholder engagement, testing, cutover planning, and onboarding.\nManage large-scale technology deployments and migrations across multiple business units, countries, and sites.\nWork closely with Network Architects and Engineers to understand technical requirements, implementation approaches, and delivery dependencies.\nCoordinate activities across central IT, business-unit IT, Network Engineering, Information Security, Infrastructure, and third-party service providers.\nProactively identify and resolve delivery risks, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints.\nMaintain project governance, including RAID logs, status reporting, action tracking, and stakeholder communications.\nFacilitate project meetings, technical discussions, readiness reviews, and implementation planning sessions.\nManage vendor and third-party supplier activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines and deliverables.\nMonitor project progress against agreed schedules, scope, and delivery objectives.\nEscalate critical issues and drive timely decisions to maintain project momentum.\nCoordinate implementation, cutover, post-deployment stabilization, and transition to operational support teams.\nSupport subsequent network consolidation and standardization projects as they move into delivery.\nIdentify opportunities to improve deployment consistency, operational readiness, and repeatable implementation practices across the enterprise.\nABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS\n\nSignificant experience managing complex IT infrastructure and network transformation projects.\nDemonstrated success delivering enterprise network consolidation, standardization, or modernization initiatives.\nProven experience managing large-scale technology rollouts and migrations across multiple business units, countries, or sites.\nStrong understanding of enterprise networking and network security technologies.\nExperience coordinating site readiness, technical implementation, migration planning, cutover, onboarding, and operational transition activities.\nAbility to work credibly and effectively with Network Architects, Network Engineers, Cybersecurity professionals, and infrastructure teams.\nStrong project delivery planning, scheduling, dependency management, and execution capabilities.\nExtensive experience managing project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID).\nStrong stakeholder management skills across technical, business, and executive audiences.\nExperience coordinating third-party vendors, suppliers, and external technology partners.\nAbility to manage complex projects within geographically distributed and highly matrixed organizations.\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify delivery obstacles and drive actions through to resolution.\nExcellent meeting facilitation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.\nStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.\nA proactive, hands-on approach to project delivery, with the ability to quickly understand an established project scope and independently drive execution.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\nDirect experience managing Zscaler implementations, migrations, or enterprise-wide rollouts.\nExperience delivering network security transformation initiatives involving cloud-delivered security services.\nStrong familiarity with LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, and enterprise connectivity technologies.\nExperience supporting network infrastructure consolidation across multiple business units or operating companies.\nExperience working within large, global, or federated organizations transitioning toward common enterprise technology services.\nExperience coordinating complex network migrations involving multiple geographic regions and third-party providers.\nFamiliarity with enterprise network architecture, security standards, and operational support models.\nExperience managing infrastructure transformation initiatives within regulated industries such as life sciences, healthcare, or manufacturing.\nPMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent project management certification.\nABOUT THE ROLE\nThis is a remote contract opportunity open to candidates based in North America or the United Kingdom, with an anticipated start as soon as possible.\nThe successful candidate will collaborate with geographically distributed teams and stakeholders across multiple time zones.\nThis is a senior, hands-on delivery role requiring an individual who can quickly take ownership of projects that have already been scoped and drive them through successful implementation.\nThe initial focus will be the enterprise Zscaler rollout, followed by additional network consolidation and standardization initiatives.\nWe are looking for a Project Manager with substantial network and infrastructure transformation experience, rather than a generalist PM.
