Working as part of the Infrastructure Operations team, the Junior Technical Analyst will provide onsite support for day-to-day IT operations, including end-user support, system administration, infrastructure, security, and business applications.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an early-career IT professional to gain hands-on experience supporting users and technology within a complex, global enterprise environment.\n\nABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nProvide end-user and administrative support for IT systems, applications, and infrastructure. \nRespond to IT-related questions and provide technical guidance and assistance to users. \nTroubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and application issues. \nPerform routine IT operations activities, including onsite equipment and system checks. \nConfigure, install, deploy, and support PCs, peripherals, and other IT equipment. \nAssist with basic system administration and infrastructure support activities. \nEnsure established IT procedures, security practices, and operational standards are followed. \nDevelop a working knowledge of department-specific applications and technologies. \nUse an ITSM/Service Desk platform to document incidents, service requests, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions. \nEscalate more complex technical issues to appropriate senior technical teams when required. \nMaintain accurate support and technical documentation. \nCollaborate with local and global IT teams to resolve issues and support business users. \nContribute to departmental service levels, key performance indicators, and continuous improvement initiatives. \nABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS\n\n1+ years of experience providing end-user, desktop, help desk, or technical support. \n1+ years of experience supporting PC applications, operating systems, and hardware. \nGood working knowledge of PCs, IT hardware, and associated peripherals. \nGood knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications. \nAbility to troubleshoot common hardware, software, application, and connectivity issues. \nAbility to use technical documentation and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve problems. \nFamiliarity with ITSM, Service Desk, incident management, or ticketing systems. \nStrong customer service orientation and a willingness to assist users with varying levels of technical knowledge. \nSound judgment and strong analytical, organizational, and follow-up skills. \nStrong written and verbal communication skills. \nAbility to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a broader IT team. \nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\nCompTIA A+ certification or equivalent technical certification. \nDiploma, degree, or technical training in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. \nPrevious experience supporting users within a corporate or enterprise IT environment. \nExposure to IT infrastructure, system administration, networking, or information security. \nExperience working with ITSM or Service Desk platforms. \nExperience supporting users within life sciences, medical technology, healthcare, or another regulated environment. \nABOUT THE ROLE\nThis is an initial 6-month contract opportunity based in the San Jose, California area.\nThis is a fully onsite position requiring regular interaction with business users and IT equipment at the client location.
