The successful consultant will evaluate existing controls, applicable standards, and operational risks to help prioritize security improvements and guide secure infrastructure solutions.\nThe role requires strong security architecture capability and an understanding of how infrastructure solutions are implemented and supported in an enterprise environment. Deliverables include detailed and conceptual solution designs, technical specifications, discovery, and infrastructure planning documentation.\n\nABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nAdvise Operations on security gaps, risk exposure, and practical remediation options.\nReview existing security controls and standards and prioritize improvements based on operational risk.\nProvide security architecture guidance for infrastructure solutions developed by Operations.\nPrepare Detailed Solution Designs (DSDs) covering integration, data flows, security measures, and compliance considerations.\nDevelop Technical Specification Documents (TSDs) describing hardware, software, network configuration, and implementation requirements.\nContribute Conceptual Solution Designs (CSDs), discovery activities, and core infrastructure planning.\nAssess security architecture across Cisco, Microsoft Azure, networks, storage, data centres, servers, and related platforms.\nCollaborate with network, server, storage, backup, cloud, and other infrastructure specialists.\nPresent recommendations, design options, and risk-based priorities to technical and business stakeholders.\nSupport technical reviews, implementation planning, and security consultation as needed.\nREQUIREMENTS – MUST-HAVE\n\nDemonstrated project and support experience with Cisco, Azure, networking, storage, data-centre, server, and related technologies from a security solution architecture perspective.\nAbility to evaluate infrastructure security risks and recommend appropriate architecture and controls.\nExperience translating technical and security requirements into actionable design documentation and recommendations.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills with infrastructure and Operations teams.\nAvailability to work onsite in Regina, Saskatchewan.\nQualifications aligned with the required security architecture responsibilities.\nREQUIREMENTS – NICE-TO-HAVE\n\nPrevious hands-on infrastructure administration experience in server, storage, backup, or network environments.\nExperience with hybrid cloud and on-premises enterprise infrastructure.\nExperience preparing detailed and conceptual infrastructure solution designs.\nRelevant security, networking, cloud, or architecture certifications.\nExperience supporting large, complex, or regulated enterprise environments.\nABOUT THE ROLE\nPosition: Security Specialist – Security Architect\nLocation: Regina, Saskatchewan\nWork Arrangement: Onsite\nPlanned Start Date: November 30, 2026\nPlanned End Date: December 31, 2027\nDuration: Approximately 13 months\nGuaranteed Utilization: 100%\n\nPAY DISCLOSURE\nIntermediate: $85–$100/hour (CAD)\nSenior: $100–$115/hour (CAD)\nCompensation is commensurate with experience, qualifications, and security architecture expertise.\n\nAI DISCLOSURE\nSystematix may use artificial intelligence (AI) or other automated tools to support parts of the recruitment process.
