If you are passionate about what you do and like to be challenged to achieve excellence - we’d love to meet you.\nWe are seeking experienced Lead installation technicians who are personable, have good communication skills, love leading others to success, and are proud of the quality of their work.\nPreferred candidates will have three to five years’ experience in at least one of the following:\nLeadership: Leading small teams for the installation of low voltage cabling and/or security device installations\nCabling: Standards based installation of low voltage cables for Network infrastructure, Access Control, Video Surveillance, and Audio/Video Systems.\nElectrical Work: Installation of various low voltage devices such as security cameras, card readers, door locks, racks, cable tray and conduit.\nTools and Equipment: Safely operate and use of hand tools, powered hand tools, ladders, lifts, and company vehicles.\nRegional Notes:\nNashville Area - Lead Technicians meet at the SI Main office each day. Vehicles are checked out daily.\nDay to Day Responsibilities include:\nLead one to two installation technicians to meet high quality standards of installation\nInstall cabling, security devices, and low voltage equipment in existing and new construction\nCommission, test, and document installations using cable testers, video monitors, and remote support.\nAssist in onsite tracking of materials used on the job site.\nReport time used and progress of installation to Lead Technicians, Project Leaders, and Project Managers using computer or phone applications as required.\nAssist in on the Job training for installation technicians.\n Basic Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent\nExperience running cables in a commercial setting.\nAbility to lift/move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 lbs.\nAbility to work from ladders or man lifts at extended heights.\nMust be able to differentiate colors.\nMust be comfortable standing for long periods of time and complete overhead work for long periods of time.\nWhat we offer...\nPayroll: \nEmployees Paid Weekly - Direct Deposit.\nVacation Accrual:\nAccrual time based on Anniversary date - December 31.\nBegins accruing time after 90 days.\nIf vacation is not used, it is paid out at the end of the year.\n1 year - 5 days of Vacation (40 hours)\n2 years- 10 days of Vacation (80 hours)\n15 years- 15 days of Vacation (120 hours)\n9 Paid Holidays:\nNew Year’s Day\nGood Friday\nMemorial Day\nJuly 4th\nLabor Day\nThanksgiving (2 Days)\nChristmas (2 Days)\nSick Time:\nAccrual starts after 90 days.\nAccrue 4 hours per month\nSick time rolls over into next year up to a 96 hours (12 days) cap.\nInsurance/ HSA Account:\nEligible after 60 days\nLife- $25,000 policy paid by SI\nMedical, Dental, & Vision available\n80% of premium covered by SI - remainder & dependents will be paid through payroll deduction.\nCompany contribution into HSA quarterly- $15/Month $45/Quarter $180/year.\nSupplemental Options are available\n401k Profit Share: \nElective employee contribution through payroll deduction\nUp to $22,500/year\n$30,000 /year over age 50\nCompany will contribute 3% of salary Safe Harbor yearly, and the potential of 2% profit share at the end of the year.\nDisclaimer: This job description is not all encompassing of job responsibilities and is not in any way a binding document.
