Join us this summer and help develop meaningful solutions to challenging, real world problems which enhance our nation's security. \nThe Role:\nAs a DevSecOps Engineer in the Mission Applications Group, you will work as part of tightly knit Agile software teams to design and implement Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for various unique deployment environments. This role includes:\nSupporting cloud (e.g., AWS) toolsets in unclassified environments\nConfiguring and maintaining multiple CI/CD environments, focusing on developer productivity, application performance, security monitoring, and alerting\nInterfacing with corporate IT to ensure team infrastructure toolsets are configured, maintained, reliable, and in compliance with Department of Defense standards\nEducating engineers on DevOps fundamentals while helping to implement solid software development processes\nThis role will take advantage of STR’s flexible, hybrid environment - when the work does not require use of STR’s facilities, you are welcome to work remotely. Applicants should expect to work onsite a minimum of 3 days/week.\nWho You Are:\nEligible to obtain a security clearance, for which U.S. citizenship is needed by U.S. Government\nBachelor’s degree + 2 years, Master’s degree, or equivalent experience\nMinimum 1 year of experience with relevant technologies including:\nCI/CD tools (Gitlab) and pipeline automation\nCloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), and automated provisioning tools (such as Ansible, Chef, or TerraForm)\nContainerization technologies such as Docker and Podman\nKubernetes management solutions such as EKS and Rancher\nGitOps tools experience (such as FluxCD)\nBasic knowledge of Linux System Administration\nKnowledge of Python and Linux Shell\nKnowledge of Cyber Security fundamentals\nOrganized, detail-oriented, and with an ability to work diligently and collaboratively\nGood communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences\nEven Better:\nActive Security Clearance at the Secret level\nMaster’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related technical field\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $115,000 - $145,000\nThe salary range listed is based on external market data.
