Work must be performed onsite.\nWe're looking for individuals who:\nBridge the gap between intelligence operations and technical engineering\nAre self-starters who identify inefficiencies and build tools to solve them\nCan work hard target problems and develop repeatable workflows\nThrive in mission-focused, fast-paced environments\nHave a track record of innovation within intelligence tradecraft\nUnderstand both the \"why\" (intelligence requirements) and the \"how\" (technical implementation)\nWhat you will do:\nDevelop tools and automated workflows to sift through large datasets and identify information relevant for modeling and intelligence efforts\nApply all-source intelligence tradecraft and technical analysis to create system models from circuit diagrams, schematics, source code, signal processing algorithms, and reverse-engineered components\nLeverage intelligence databases and analytic tools to support technical collection and threat modeling\nCreate custom query logic and scripts to extract, correlate, and analyze data across multiple databases and intelligence repositories\nWork in multi-disciplinary teams to tackle challenging problems from a wide variety of technologies to develop innovative cybersecurity solutions\nApply network analysis, communications intelligence (COMINT), and signals intelligence (SIGINT) tradecraft to technical problems\nDocument, demonstrate, and present research findings to technical and non-technical audiences\nBrief leadership on project status, technical findings, and operational impacts\nSolve real world problems that have an impact on national security\nWho you are:\nThis position requires an Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with active CI polygraph (or willingness to obtain CI polygraph), for which U.S. citizenship is needed by the U.S. Government\nBS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience\n Intelligence community experience with demonstrated proficiency in:All-source intelligence tools and databases (e.g., DataXplorer, XKeyScore, or similar)\nIntelligence Oversight (IO) policies and procedures\n\nStrong programming skills in Python, C/C++, or similar languages\nExperience with data analysis and automation: pandas, SQL queries, scripting for data extraction\nGeneral understanding of electrical engineering: Circuit and flow diagrams, signal processing chains, network traffic data\nProficiency with modeling tools: SPICE, MATLAB, or similar\nWilling to travel frequently from an STR office to the customer location in MD, or spend the majority of time at customer location\nNice to have:\n SIGINT, COMINT, or Cryptologic experience (military or civilian)\nExperience with network analysis and communications systems: Wireshark, protocol analysis, satellite communications\nReverse engineering experience: Ghidra, IDA Pro, firmware analysis, malware analysis\nKnowledge of disassembly/decompilation: Analyzing protocols, message structures, binary file formats\n Foreign language skills (especially Chinese, Russian, Arabic, Farsi, or other priority languages)\nDLPT scores in mission-relevant languages\n Capture the Flag (CTF) experience: HTB, VulnHub, picoCTF, penetration testing\nExperience developing automated analysis tools or custom tradecraft solutions\nKnowledge of digital twin development and cyber-physical system modeling\nExperience with embedded systems analysis or signal processing algorithm development\nBackground in targeting, collection management, or operational intelligence\nProven ability to lead small cross-functional teams on complex technical problems\nExperience briefing senior leadership and creating strategic intelligence products\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $173,000 - $230,000\nThe salary range listed is based on external market data.
