This is a combination management and hands-on technical role that requires rolling up your sleeves to architect, code, debug, and mentor.\nLocation: This position will be hybrid remote. Candidates will be required to work onsite as needed. Candidates need to be located near Hanscom AFB (Boston, MA) to support part-time on-site support.\nRequirements\nDesign and architect scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions across Oracle Cloud infrastructure and others.\nDevelop cloud strategy and roadmaps aligned with organization objectives and technical requirements. \nEvaluate emerging cloud technologies and assess their potential impact on organizational goals. \nDrive adoption of DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, and automation frameworks. \nOptimize application performance and reliability in cloud environments \nDesign secure cloud architectures implementing zero-trust principles and defense-in-depth strategies. \nEnsure compliance with industry standards (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.) and regulatory requirements. \nImplement / integrate with identity and access management solutions and security monitoring frameworks. \nFacilitate customer onboarding and implement a consistent pathway to cloud adoption. \nManage and optimize Oracle cloud environments, networking, VPNs, IaaS, PaaS, and SQL systems. \nImplement and maintain tools and services such as Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, and Guacamole to support DevSecOps practices. \nContainerize applications to enhance scalability and deployment efficiency. \nSupport the design and development of Shared Services. \nConfigure and troubleshoot cloud, virtual, and physical hardware and software systems. \nEstablish and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring their performance and reliability. \nPrepare detailed technical documentation to support development and operational processes. \nConduct security assessments and remediate vulnerabilities in cloud environments. \nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including development, operations, security, and product management. \nCreate reference architectures, design patterns, and technical standards for cloud implementations. \n· Technical Leadership:\nPartner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. \nPresent architectural designs and recommendations to executive leadership. \nMentor, guide and supervise development teams of up to 5 engineers and technical specialists on cloud-native application design and deployment. \nLead architectural reviews and provide guidance on complex technical decisions.\nRequired Skills:\nBachelor’s Degree and 8+ years or more of experience;
