We strive to recruit the best talent in the industry and give employees opportunities for continuing education and training to help them advance in their careers.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nResponsible for supervising multiple work cells and up to 30 team members; work ethically and with integrity, uphold organizational values; demonstrate leadership and show ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the company; monitor hour-by-hour production operations and identify any deviations from the process for correction and escalate when appropriate\nConsistently meet or exceed planned production goals and KPIs on assigned shift; continuously improve productivity and efficiency through effective employee relations, manpower planning, 5S principles, material and parts planning, and timely resolution of production problems\nWork closely with employees to ensure they have adequate materials, tools, equipment, and training to perform their job safely, efficiently, and consistently; responsible for new employee training, monitoring, and coaching\nEnsure the highest quality standards are always followed\nEnsure compliance with company safety and 5S policy, and environmental regulations at all times\nProcess time and attendance, perform and handle disciplinary procedures; prioritize work schedules, delegate work assignments, approve and track time-off requests; coach and complete performance reviews for direct reports;\nEnsure production tracker boards are updated daily and all ERP functions related to production are performed by end of shift\nEnsure the maintenance and maximum utilization of production machinery and equipment is achieved\nExpedite rush and special orders\nComply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.\nProtect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential.\nMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.\nContribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.\nMotivate and lead a high performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team members\nDrive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company’s policies\nMaintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communications\nLead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the CG mission, vision and values.\nMinimum Qualifications: \nAssociates' degree in a related discipline, or equivalent work experience\n3+ years supervisory experience or as a team lead in a manufacturing environment\nProfessional work experience that demonstrates progressive increase in level of responsibility and scope of duties\nSix Sigma or proficient in Lean / 5S\nLeadership Training\nMust possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and computer skills\nStrong mechanical aptitude\nProficient in MS Excel, Word, PPT\nAbility to use an ERP system\nExperience with 5 whys / root cause analysis\nExcellent troubleshooting skills\nPreferred Qualifications : Welding, Fabrication, and experience with industrial paint systems, Experience with MRP, BOM and Routing\n\nThe pay range for this position is $60,400.00 - $97,525.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
