We strive to recruit the best talent in the industry and give employees opportunities for continuing education and training to help them advance in their careers.\n\nAnalyze supplier capabilities; develop and maintain supplier quality metrics; conduct studies and audits of supplier processes and products \nLead the Supplier Quality Assessment program for the assigned category; involving a cross-functional team to ensure proper alignment to the Chamberlain Group strategy, business and product needs \nIdentify PPAP Level and dimensional requirements on the component quality plan when a new PPAP is required \nRecommend disposition of non-conforming product from suppliers through the MRB meetings \nReview, approve and follow-up on SCAR responses related to audit findings, nonconforming product, or overall supplier performance to ensure effective resolution \nOversee and manage the PPAP protocol process \nAnalyze metric tools to identify opportunities and drive continuous quality improvement in their respective commodities \nIdentify opportunities for component inspection reduction while participating in cross-functional teams to continuously improve product quality from suppliers \nProvide technical support to IQC in defining inspection protocols when required \nConduct monthly performance reviews with supply base \nProtect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential \nMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies \nContribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed \nComply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams. \nMinimum Qualifications\nEducation/Certifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical related field, Business or Supply Chain \nExperience:\n4+ years of experience in Quality Engineering \nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nWorking knowledge of APQP \nWorking Knowledge and Application of Lean Manufacturing, DFM, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Total Cost of Ownership, Suppler Diversity & Sustainability/Regulatory compliance \nAbility to work in an environment that embraces cross-functional collaborative team driven results \nWorking knowledge of LSS; belt preferred \nStrong analytical skills and technical market analysis experience \nStrong communication skills \nOther:\nAble to travel up to 25% - domestically and internationally \nAdvanced English proficiency \nPreferred Qualifications\nEducation/Certifications:\nQuality certifications \nExperience:\nGlobal sourcing experience \nExperience in an Engineering role \nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nUnderstanding of technically related subjects (motors, electronics, plastics, metals, etc.) \n\n$76,600.00 - $144,700.00\n\nChamberlain Group wants all of its employees to succeed and encourages people of all backgrounds to apply.
