equipment for HVAC systems.\nThe ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HVAC systems, sheet metal fabrication, and the ability to work with precision and attention to detail.\nTypical responsibilities:\nFabrication:\nFabricate sheet metal components, ductwork, and fittings according to blueprints, sketches, and specifications.\nUse hand and power tools (e.g., shears, hammers, drills, and welding machines) to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts.\nPerform metalworking processes, including bending, cutting, and welding.\nAssembly & Installation:\nAssemble and install ductwork, vents, and other sheet metal parts for HVAC systems in commercial and residential buildings.\nEnsure accurate alignment, fitting, and assembly of sheet metal pieces, ensuring a secure and durable installation.\nInstall insulation and sealing on ducts to ensure efficiency and prevent air leaks.\nAlteration & Repairs:\nAlter existing sheet metal products and HVAC components to meet job specifications and changes.\nRepair damaged or malfunctioning sheet metal products or HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.\nWhat you’ll bring to the table:\nMinimum of 2 to 4 years of commercial experience\nExperience in brazing and running refrigerant piping\nAbility to read and understand blueprints, drawings, specs and work orders\nBasic tools\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.
