T-Bank

T-Bank is a Russian digital bank founded in 2006 as Tinkoff Credit Systems, built from the start without branches and reaching customers entirely through its mobile application and courier network. It has grown into one of the largest retail banks in the country by customer count, offering current accounts, credit cards, brokerage through T-Investments, insurance, a mobile virtual network operator and a business banking arm. The bank rebranded from Tinkoff to T-Bank in 2024 after its founder sold out, sits inside the listed group T-Technologies, and is known domestically for an unusually engineering-led culture and heavy use of machine learning in credit scoring.
