This is an individual contributor role that requires strong technical leadership, end-to-end ownership of QE activities, driving quality initiatives, defining test strategies, and leading cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-quality releases.\n\nCore Mandatory Skills & Competencies :\n\n- Deep hands-on experience in BFSI/Banking domains, with exposure to UPI, Cards, Payments, Wallets, Deposits, FC, Onboarding/Registration, Open Markets, Loans, Investments, and more.\n\n- Must be currently performing the role of QE Lead / Senior QA with end-to-end testing responsibilities.\n\n- Individual Contributor role with mandatory hands-on involvement in testing activities; no people-management responsibilities.\n\n- Proven ability to lead and manage daily QE activities, test planning, and deliverables.\n\n- Expertise in Mobile App Testing, Web Application Testing, and API Testing.\n\n- Strong command of Functional Manual Testing.\n\n- Excellent knowledge of automation testing and hands-on programming experience using Java, Python, Selenium, Katalon, EggPlant, or any industry-standard automation tools/frameworks.\n\n- Experience integrating automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and related tooling.\n\n- Strong exposure to SDET frameworks, TDD practices, and test architecture.\n\n- Good knowledge of AI concepts, conversational banking, and adoption of AI practices within QE.\n\n- Deep understanding of test environments, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.\n\n- Experience working within SAFe Agile environments.\n\n- Ability to develop comprehensive Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Reviews, Estimations, and process documentation focused on efficiency and metrics.\n\n- Demonstrated success in driving Quality Initiatives and measurable efficiency improvements.\n\n- Expertise in actionable metrics creation, JIRA dashboards, and management reporting.\n\n- Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve QE issues independently or by coordinating with stakeholders.\n\n- Ability to analyze GCP transaction logs, interface logs, and derive actionable insights.\n\n- Ability to mentor junior engineers and guide them in day-to-day QA activities.\n\n- Capable of working effectively with QE managers and senior management on test strategy, automation, and project quality.\n\n- Lead and drive Defect Triage Meetings with multiple stakeholders.\n\nTools Exposure (Required) :\n\n- Test Automation : Mobile Automation Tools, Python/Selenium, EggPlant, Katalon, or equivalent.\n\n- JIRA, Scrum Boards, Confluence, and project management tools.\n\n- Test Management Tools: Zephyr, Rational Quality Manager, etc.\n\n- API Testing using Postman collections.\n\n- Experience working with GCP logs (transaction & interface).\n\n- Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.\n\nSoft Skills :\n\n- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.\n\n- Strong collaboration abilities across cross-functional teams.\n\n- Positive, proactive, and high-ownership attitude.\n\nImportant Notes :\n\n- This position does not involve people management responsibilities.\n\n- Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced
