Role Overview :
As a Senior Python Developer based in Pune, you will serve as a technical lead responsible for architecting and maintaining high-scale backend systems.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional product teams and stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into efficient, maintainable code.
Your work will directly influence the scalability and performance of our core platforms, ensuring that our infrastructure remains resilient while integrating modern advancements like Generative AI to drive business innovation.
Accountabilities :
- Lead engineering teams effectively, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture to achieve project goals and meet organizational objectives.
- Oversee timelines, team allocation, risk management and task prioritization to ensure the successful delivery of solutions within scope, time, and budget.
- Mentor and support team members' professional growth, conduct performance reviews, provide actionable feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluation and enhancement of engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency, streamline workflows, and optimize team productivity.
- Collaboration with business partners, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure a cohesive approach to product development.
- Enforcement of technology standards, facilitate peer reviews, and implement robust testing practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement scalable microservices architecture to enhance system modularity and improve deployment velocity for enterprise clients.
- Lead the development of backend services using Python, Django, and Flask to ensure high availability and optimal performance of mission-critical applications.
- Integrate Generative AI models into existing workflows to automate complex data tasks and provide advanced analytical capabilities to end-users.
- Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure seamless API integration with React.js interfaces, delivering a cohesive and responsive user experience.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and conduct rigorous code reviews to maintain high standards of software quality and architectural integrity across the organization.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in building and managing large-scale backend systems using Python, with deep proficiency in Django and Flask frameworks.
- Proven ability to design and deploy complex microservices architecture in a production environment, ensuring fault tolerance and high throughput.
- Hands-on experience integrating Generative AI technologies into enterprise applications to solve real-world business challenges.
- Strong understanding of modern frontend integration, specifically working with React.js to bridge the gap between backend services and user interfaces.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders and lead high-performing teams.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment in Pune, maintaining high levels of productivity and collaboration across distributed teams.
- A minimum of 12 - 20 years of professional software development experience, ideally supported by a degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
