operating robust AI/ML systems.\nThis position is open to candidates in: Colombia, Argentina, Brazil.\nWhat will you do in this role?\nYou will be responsible for designing, building, and operating machine learning systems, large-scale data pipelines, and AI agents that power core product capabilities.\nThis role involves working across the full lifecycle of ML systems - from data ingestion and distributed processing to model deployment and monitoring.\nYour main responsibilities will include:\nDesigning and building distributed data pipelines to process large datasets.\n\nDeveloping and deploying machine learning models in production environments.\n\nImplementing agent-based AI systems that interact with external services and internal infrastructure.\n\nDesigning scalable architectures for data processing and ML training pipelines.\n\nEstablishing observability for pipelines, models, and agents (metrics, tracing, alerting).\n\nEvaluating modeling approaches and optimizing cost vs. performance trade-offs.\n\nCollaborating with product and customer teams to build solutions that drive business impact.\n\nIterating quickly from prototype to production-ready systems.\n\nThis role requires strong technical ownership and the ability to build reliable systems end-to-end.\nWhat should you bring?\nWe are looking for engineers with strong experience in production machine learning systems, distributed data processing, and scalable infrastructure.\nIdeally you have:\nStrong experience with Spark and SQL in distributed data environments.\n\nExperience building and deploying machine learning systems in production.\n\nExperience working with large and complex datasets.\n\nExperience designing training, deployment, and monitoring pipelines for ML models.\n\nExperience working with cloud services across data, compute, and ML.\n\nAbility to design clear software architectures and well-documented systems.\n\nStrong technical communication and collaboration skills.\n\nLanguages: Python, Scala\nTools / Frameworks: Spark, AWS (Sagemaker / Bedrock), Kubernetes\nNice to Have\nExperience building products from 0 to production, especially in startup environments.\n\nExperience working with large geospatial datasets and indexing strategies.\n\nExperience building AI agents that operate at scale.\n\nExperience with fine-tuning, distilling, or self-hosting LLM models.\n\nBackground in traditional ML with messy datasets and strong evaluation methodologies.\n\nExperience with CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure as code.\n\nWhat you
