Your specific placement will align to your background, skills, and areas of interest.\nWhat You'll Do\nDepending on your team placement, your summer will include a combination of the following:\nAnalyze workforce, operational, or experience data to generate insights that inform business decisions\nBuild dashboards, models, or reports that translate complex data into clear, executive-ready narratives\nContribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying gaps, mapping workflows, and recommending scalable solutions\nSupport the design or prototyping of tools, frameworks, or experiences that make T-Mobile a better place to work\nPartner with cross-functional stakeholders across HR, Finance, Technology, and Business to gather inputs and align on recommendations\nConduct research - labor market, employee feedback, learning landscape, or organizational design - to ground strategies in data\nPresent findings and recommendations to team leads and senior leadership\nWhat It Takes\nEducation\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree (Master's preferred) in one of the following fields:\nBusiness, Finance, Economics, or Statistics\nData Analytics, Data Science, or Information Systems\nComputer Science, Engineering, or AI/ML\nHuman Resources, Organizational Development, or Industrial-Organizational Psychology\nLearning Experience Design, Instructional Design, or Educational Technology\nHuman-Centered Design, UX Research, or Service Design\nTechnical Skills\nStrong candidates will bring experience with one or more of the following:\nData visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar\nSQL, Python, R, or other data analysis tools\nExcel, including financial modeling or advanced analysis\nAI/ML applications, including LLMs, automation workflows, or retrieval-based architectures\nWorkflow and project management tools such as Airtable, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, or Jira\nResearch and design tools such as Miro, Figma, or Qualtrics\nCore Competencies\nStrong analytical and structured problem-solving skills\nAbility to translate ambiguous challenges into clear frameworks and actionable recommendations\nExcellent written and verbal communication, including experience presenting to senior audiences\nHigh ownership mindset with the ability to work independently and manage priorities\nIntellectual curiosity and comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments\nCollaborative approach to cross-functional work\nWhat You Can Expect\nA real project with real scope and real impact\nA dedicated manager and mentor invested in your development\nExposure to senior HR and business leaders\nPeer connection through a structured intern cohort experience\nCompetitive compensation and a hybrid work environment\nMinimum Qualifications\nAt least 18 years of age\nLegally authorized to work in the United States\nMust be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program\nEmployees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships \n\nRelocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.\nIntern wages range from $26/hour to $47/hour.
