Our work enables analytics, reporting, and decision-making across the business. You’ll join a collaborative team of engineers who value learning and ownership. You’ll work with modern cloud and big data tools at a scale few companies can offer.\nWhat You'll Do:\nYou’ll own a project that designs, builds, and tests a data pipeline for a real business use case. You’ll work with engineers to ingest, transform, and validate data from multiple sources. Your work will improve data quality, speed, and availability for the teams that depend on it. You’ll present your results to team leaders at the end of the summer.\nKey Responsibilities:\n- Develop and test ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL and Python\n- Ingest and transform data from multiple sources into the cloud data platform\n- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and documentation\n- Collaborate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and team meetings\n- Present project outcomes and learnings to the team and leadership\nWhat It Takes:\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in CS, Data Science, or a related field. Experience with SQL and Python or Java. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and with Git. Coursework or projects in databases, data structures, or big data. Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.\nMinimum Qualifications\nAt least 18 years of age\nLegally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future \nMust have one or more course(s) remaining in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program post internship\nEmployees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for external Summer Internships, please see Magenta Accelerator if interested \nRelocation assistance will be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.\nIntern wages range from $27/hour to $50/hour.
