This resource will leverage AI and automation tools to set up platform best practices from administrative and security standpoints. Additionally, this role will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, and improving release reliability across multiple Salesforce environments. You will collaborate closely with developers, QA teams, and architects to deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions, while ensuring system stability, security, and performance. \nResponsibilities \nCore Salesforce platform administration:\nSet up and maintain users in Salesforce \nSet up reporting tools that surfaces platform health both from a complexity and security standpoint\nReview Salesforce seasonal changes and identify upcoming changes that would be beneficial to implement or changes that require attention \nDevOps Architecture:\nDesign and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce applications \nImplement automated deployment and release management processes using modern DevOps tools \nEstablish best practices for version control, branching strategies, and code integration \nDeployment & Release Management:\nManage Salesforce deployments across development, sandbox, staging, and production environments \nCoordinate release schedules and ensure smooth production deployments \nDevelop rollback strategies and deployment monitoring procedures \nAutomation & Quality:\nImplement automated testing and validation in deployment pipelines \nIntegrate static code analysis and quality checks into CI/CD processes \nImprove delivery speed while maintaining reliability and governance \nFamiliarity with AI tools to streamline deployment process \nEnvironment Management:\nMaintain consistency across Salesforce orgs and environments \nManage configuration, metadata deployments, and environment provisioning \nProactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer \nAdminister and support installed AppExchange applications \nIdentify unused or underutilized platform features for periodic clean-ups \nRespond to user support tickets \nManage and improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed \nCollaboration & Leadership:\nWork closely with Salesforce developers, tech leads, and architects \nCollaborate with Product Managers and business stakeholders \nMentor junior engineers on DevOps best practices \nPromote DevOps culture and continuous improvement within the Salesforce and AWS engineering team \nBusiness Knowledge\nAble to work directly with product and business partners \nCan articulate business needs and translate them into technology solutions \nQualifications \nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience \n5+ years of experience in DevOps, Release Engineering, or Salesforce and/or AWS development engineering \nStrong experience with Salesforce development and deployment frameworks \nSalesforce or AWS certifications (Administrator, Platform Developer, or DevOps-related) \nExperience with Salesforce and AWS DevOps tools such as Copado, Gearset, or AutoRABIT \nExperience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions \nExpertise in version control systems such as Git \nFamiliarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies \nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills \nFamiliarity with AI tools such as Claude Code and Kiro \nPreferred:\nFamiliarity with other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) \nApplicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States (e.g., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant work status). \nFINRA Requirements \nFINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role. \nWork Flexibility \nThis role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to three days per week from home.\nWHAT TO EXPECT AFTER APPLYING\n1.
