We're focused on building advanced American manufacturing and we're passionate about engineering a better future filled with abundant energy.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead process engineering activities for key TOPCon unit processes, including tunnel oxide, polysilicon deposition, diffusion, passivation, and/or metallization\n\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to process engineers supporting your assigned process areas\n\nDrive process stability and continuous improvement, using data to identify and close yield and efficiency gaps\n\nEstablish and maintain process baselines, control plans, and process documentation for owned process steps\n\nPartner with Equipment, Metrology, and Quality teams to ensure process and tool readiness, control, and compliance\n\nLead root cause analysis for yield excursions, efficiency losses, and cell performance deviations within your process area\n\nSupport technology transfer and process qualification activities for new tools, materials, and process flows\n\nCollaborate with R&D and device engineering on next-generation process development and integration\n\nRepresent your process area in cross-functional technical reviews and discussions\n\nWho You Are\nA TOPCon practitioner - you know the technology well and have hands-on development and manufacturing experience to back it up\n\nA technical contributor who can operate effectively at both the bench and in cross-functional discussions\n\nRigorous and methodical in your approach to process development, with a strong instinct for where problems are hiding\n\nCollaborative and effective across engineering disciplines, operations, and external partners\n\nEnergized by the challenge of scaling advanced cell technology in a new fab environment\n\nQualifications\nMS or BS in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field\n\n6+ years of process engineering experience in solar cell fabrication, with specific experience in TOPCon technology\n\nSolid understanding of TOPCon unit processes including tunnel oxide growth, polysilicon deposition, doping, and/or contact formation\n\nHands-on experience with PECVD, LPCVD, diffusion furnaces, ALD, or related toolsets\n\nWorking knowledge of process integration, yield analysis, and statistical process control\n\nExperience mentoring or providing technical guidance to junior engineers\n\nExposure to technology transfer activities from development to high-volume production\n\nThe T1 Way\nWe move fast, expect accountability, and treat people with respect.
