Under limited supervision, this role is responsible for advanced troubleshooting, system optimization, and mentoring junior technicians. Facilities Technician III plays a key role in ensuring facility systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.\nWhat You’ll Do\nPerform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and building automation systems.\n\nLead preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.\n\nServe as a technical resource and mentor to Facilities Technicians I and II.\n\nCoordinate and oversee contractors and vendors performing maintenance or installation work.\n\nAnalyze equipment performance data and implement improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.\n\nSupport capital projects, equipment installations, and facility upgrades.\n\nEnsure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.\n\nDevelop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintenance documentation.\n\nParticipate in root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.\n\nSupport audits and inspections, ensuring readiness and compliance with company standards.\n\nCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and EHS teams.\n\nRespond to emergency maintenance issues and provide on-call support as needed.\n\nIdentify and drive continuous improvement initiatives across facility systems.\n\nComply with all company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and safe work instructions.\n\nPromptly identify and report hazards, near misses, and incidents.\n\nWho You Are\nStrong technical expertise in multiple facility systems (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, controls).\n\nProven ability to troubleshoot complex systems and lead problem resolution.\n\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\n\nStrong leadership and mentoring skills.\n\nKnowledge of regulatory and safety standards applicable to manufacturing environments.\n\nContinuous improvement mindset with strong analytical skills.\n\nQualifications\n5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED required, technical certification or associate degree preferred.\n\nAdvanced knowledge of facility systems and maintenance practices.\n\nExperience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).\n\nStrong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and control systems.\n\nOSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred.\n\nExcellent communication and organizational skills.\n\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.\n\nEmployment Type & Schedule\nFull-Time, Hourly\n\nShifts may include day, night, weekend, or rotating schedules depending on operational needs.\n\nThe T1 Way\nWe move fast, expect accountability, and treat people with respect.
