This individual will lead complex Epic initiatives while serving as a servant leader, Agile coach, and facilitator for cross-functional teams.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong project and program management capabilities with hands-on Scrum Master experience, helping teams improve delivery, remove impediments, increase transparency, and drive continuous improvement. This role partners closely with Epic analysts, operational leaders, clinicians, product owners, and executive stakeholders to successfully deliver strategic healthcare technology initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead Epic implementation, optimization, integration, upgrade, and enhancement projects across healthcare organizations.\nServe as Scrum Master for Agile teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.\nCoach teams, Product Owners, stakeholders, and leadership on Agile principles, Scrum frameworks, and Lean delivery practices.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance team velocity, predictability, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.\nPartner with Product Owners to maintain healthy backlogs, prioritize work, and define clear acceptance criteria.\nRemove organizational impediments and proactively resolve blockers impacting project delivery.\nManage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.\nDevelop project roadmaps and delivery plans aligned with organizational objectives.\nCollaborate with Epic analysts, application teams, infrastructure teams, and operational stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.\nTrack Agile metrics including sprint velocity, burndown, throughput, and team health indicators.\nFacilitate stakeholder workshops, requirements sessions, and solution design discussions.\nEnsure compliance with healthcare regulations, HIPAA requirements, and organizational governance standards.\nProvide executive-level reporting and communication on project status, risks, and outcomes.\nSupport organizational Agile maturity by mentoring teams and promoting Agile best practices.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree preferred.\n5+ years of healthcare IT project management experience.\n2+ years supporting Epic EMR implementations, upgrades, optimizations, or operational initiatives.\n3+ years serving as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Agile Project Manager.\nStrong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Lean, and Agile delivery frameworks.\nExperience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching cross-functional teams.\nProven success managing multiple concurrent projects within healthcare environments.\nStrong knowledge of Epic modules such as Cadence, Prelude, Resolute, MyChart, Ambulatory, ClinDoc, or related applications.\nExceptional stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.\nExperience using Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar Agile management tools.\nAbility to influence teams without direct authority.\nPreferred Qualifications\nCertified Scrum Master (CSM)\nAdvanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM)\nCertified Scrum Professional (CSP)\nSAFe Scrum Master (SSM)\nSAFe Agilist (SA)\nPMI-ACP\nPMP\nEpic certification(s)\nHealthcare consulting experience\nExperience leading Agile transformations or organizational Agile
