This role ensures that MEP systems are properly coordinated, installed, tested, commissioned, and turned over in accordance withproject requirements, client expectations, and company standards.\nThe Senior Manager serves as a strategic leader, driving collaboration between Construction, MEP, QA/QC, and Commissioning teams while maintainingaccountability for safety, quality, schedule, budget, and operational readiness. In mission-critical and hyperscale environments, this position is focused on delivering fully functional, reliable, and operational systems with a zero-defect mindset.\nResponsibilities\nProvide overall leadership for MEP and commissioning activities from preconstruction through project turnover.\n\nDevelop and execute project-specific MEP and commissioning strategies.\n\nEstablish project goals, priorities, and performance expectations for project teams.\n\nMonitor project progress and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget objectives.\n\nManage project resources, staffing plans, and workload distribution.\n\nOversee the installation, startup, testing, and turnover of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, and life safety systems.\n\nEnsure compliance with contract documents, specifications, approved submittals, and manufacturer requirements.\n\nLead technical reviews, constructability reviews, and issue resolution efforts.\n\nCoordinate activities between subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and project teams.\n\nDrive field execution to ensure systems are installed safely, efficiently, and correctly.\n\nLead commissioning planning, scheduling, and execution activities.\n\nEnsure completion of pre-functional, functional, and integrated systems testing requirements.\n\nCoordinate with clients, operations teams, commissioning agents, and trade partners during testing and turnover.\n\nVerify system readiness and operational performance prior to client acceptance.\n\nEnsure turnover documentation is complete, accurate, and delivered on schedule.\n\nPromote and enforce a zero-defect culture across all project activities.\n\nPartner with QA/QC teams to ensure inspections, testing, and documentation requirements are achieved.\n\nMonitor quality metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nEnsure deficiencies and non-conformance reports (NCRs) are properly managedand resolved.\n\nConduct audits and reviews to verify compliance with company standards and client requirements.\n\nServe as the primary clientcontact for MEP and commissioning-related activities.\n\nLead project meetings, progress reviews, and executive-level reporting.\n\nBuild and maintainstrong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.\n\nMentor and develop Project Managers, Engineers, Coordinators, Superintendents, and QA/QC personnel.\n\nFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.\n\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a relatedfield preferred.\n\nEquivalentcombination of education, military service, technical training, and industry experience may be considered.\n\nMinimum of 10 years of experience in MEP construction, commissioning, or mission-critical project delivery.\n\nMinimum of 5 years of experience managing large project teams and complex MEP scopes.\n\nExperience delivering hyperscale data centers, mission-critical facilities, healthcare, pharmaceutical, industrial, or similarly complex projects preferred.\n\nExperience managing commissioning programs, integrated systems testing, and operational turnover activities.\n\nMP, PE, CCM, LEED, CxA, or other industry certifications preferre\nStrong problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause and long-term solutions\nTeam-first mindset with a focus on collaboration and shared success\nProficiencyin QA/QC and commissioning platforms such as CxAlloyor similar tools\nSkills\nAdvanced understanding of QA/QC processes, standards, and lifecycle management\n\nStrong knowledge of MEP systems, installation practices, and commissioning requirements\n\nProven leadership and team development skills\n\nAbility to establishand enforce standards across multiple teams and projects\n\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to identifytrends and drive improvements\n\nDirect and effective communication skills with field teams, leadership, and clients\n\nHigh levelof accountability with a focus on quality, consistency, and results\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities across fast-paced, high-demand
