Success in this role means enabling teams to deliver reliable, scalable, high-performing products that consistently earn customer trust.\nWhat You'll Do\nDrive Quality Engineering Strategy\nOwn and drive the end-to-end test automation strategy across Web, API, and Mobile platforms.\nEstablish and champion a clear quality vision across products and engineering teams.\nProactively identify functional risks, integration gaps, performance bottlenecks, and automation coverage gaps.\nDesign & Build Scalable Automation Frameworks\nDesign, build, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright and modern automation practices.\nEstablish automation standards for test architecture, reusability, maintainability, and scalability.\nDefine best practices for test design patterns, data management, environment readiness, and execution strategies.\nAutomate Web, API & Mobile Testing\nBuild and maintain comprehensive automation suites covering Web, API, and Mobile applications.\nImplement API contract, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies.\nDevelop mobile automation solutions using Appium across real devices and emulators/simulators.\nPerformance & Reliability Engineering\nDesign and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability testing using tools such as k6 and JMeter.\nAnalyze performance trends and identify system bottlenecks before they impact customers.\nEnsure applications meet reliability, scalability, and availability standards.\nCI/CD & Release Quality\nIntegrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.\nDefine and maintain quality gates, deployment validation processes, and release readiness criteria.\nBuild automated reporting mechanisms that provide actionable quality insights.\nLead Through Influence & Mentorship\nChampion a shift-left quality culture across engineering teams.\nMentor developers and engineers on testing principles, testability, automation best practices, and observability.\nInfluence product and technical design decisions by advocating for quality, reliability, and scalability from the earliest stages of development.\nDrive AI-Powered Testing Innovation\nEvaluate and adopt AI-assisted testing tools and workflows.\nLeverage AI to accelerate test creation, maintenance, failure analysis, and automation coverage.\nDrive innovation initiatives that improve testing efficiency and product quality.\nQuality Metrics & Continuous Improvement\nEstablish and monitor quality KPIs including coverage, defect escape rates, flakiness, pipeline reliability, and release quality.\nUse data-driven insights to continuously improve testing effectiveness and engineering processes.\nProvide strategic recommendations to improve product quality and delivery speed.\nYour Qualifications\nBachelor's (B.E./B.Tech.) or Master's (MCA) degree in Computer Science or a related field.\nSkill Sets / Experience We Require\n8-11 years of experience in QA Automation, SDET, or Quality Engineering roles.\nProven experience as a senior or principal-level individual contributor driving automation and quality strategy.\nStrong programming skills in JavaScript (TypeScript is a plus).\nDeep hands-on expertise with Playwright as a primary automation framework.\nExtensive experience in Web, API, and Mobile automation testing.\nStrong experience designing and building scalable automation frameworks from scratch.\nMobile automation expertise using Appium across real devices and emulators/simulators.\nHands-on experience with performance testing tools such as k6 or JMeter.\nStrong knowledge of CI/CD implementation using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.\nExperience working with Docker, containerized environments, and DevOps practices.\nExposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.\nExperience leveraging AI-driven testing tools and automation solutions.\nStrong understanding of test architecture, parallel execution, reporting, quality gates, and automation scalability.\nExceptional debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.\nStrong systems-thinking mindset with the ability to identify quality, performance, and reliability risks.\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.\nExperience working within Agile development environments and cross-functional teams.\nGood to Have\nExperience with Kubernetes and cloud-native testing environments.\nKnowledge of security testing tools and best practices.\nExperience with observability and monitoring platforms.\nFamiliarity with contract testing and service virtualization.\nContributions to quality engineering communities, open-source projects, or technical publications.\nWhat You'll Get in Return\nJoining Taazaa Tech means thriving in a dynamic and innovative environment with competitive compensation and performance-based incentives.
