We are looking for someone who can take initiative and operate independently all while taking pride in keeping our systems stable and trusted. If you are a data engineer who builds durable data systems with long-term scalability in mind, we want to hear from you. \nFocus on solving problems using the simplest possible architecture. \nself-direct within a broad definition of goals and objectives. \nPrioritize the availability of accurate and reliable data. \nDevelop processes and monitor the health of the data warehouse. \nCollaborate with technical and business teams to understand their needs and build solutions. \nResponsibilities \nDevelop and manage scalable and reliable ETL/ELT processes for loading data into data warehouses. \nMonitor performance and troubleshoot issues. \nManage and optimize our data warehouse for performance and reliability. \nMaintain data integrity and consistency across systems. \nCollaborate with internal teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions. \nStay current with industry trends and technologies in data engineering. \nContinuously improve data processes and infrastructure for efficiency and scalability. \nDocument data engineering processes, designs, and architectures. \nQualifications \nFast learner with strong work ethics and high-performance standards. \nSolve today’s problems and lay the foundation for the future. \n4 years of experience in a fintech company or fast-growing startup. \nBS or advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. \nProficient in writing production-quality code in Python. Go would be a plus. \nStrong debugging skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues effectively. \nExperience working with AWS. \nThis role is located in Palo Alto, California - three times a week in office. \nThe pay range for this position is $130,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
