Job Description:

We’relooking for a Senior Solutions Engineer with deep Oracle Financialsexpertiseto join our growing Oracle practice across the UK and EMEA.You’llown the technical narrative and value demonstration in front of CFOs, Controllers, FP&Aleadersand finance teams.

Oracle’s native reporting tools (FSG, OBIEE, OTBI, Smart View, Fusion Analytics) leave finance teams dependent on IT, slow to produce custom reports, and limited when working across EBS and Fusion or needing rapid, Excel-native analysis. insightsoftware solves that by giving finance users live, governed access to Oracle data directly in Excel with full drill-down, hybrid EBS + Cloud support, and significantly faster close and reporting cycles.You’llhelp customers see that difference clearly and win on it.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role.You’llpartner closely withaccount executives and account managers, shape deals from discovery through close, and help define how we win in the Oracle ecosystem.

Whatyou’lldo

• Partner with sales throughout the full cycle (discovery, qualification, technical validation, POC and close) as the trusted technical advisor.

• Deliver concise, story-driven, executive-level demonstrations that show superior outcomes versus Oracle native tools and competing platforms.

• Translate complex Oracle Financials architectures, reporting gaps and finance processes into clear business value and ROI for senior finance audiences.

• Build andmaintainsharp competitive positioning; feed field intelligence into Product, Marketing and Enablement.

• Apply rigorous qualification frameworks (MEDDPICC or equivalent) to help sales teamsprioritise,identifytruechampionsand accelerate decisions.

• Create reusable demo assets, POC accelerators and IP that scale the Oracle practice.

• Support the development of less-experienced Solutions Engineers on Oracle architecture, finance buyerdynamicsand high-impact presales execution.

• Collaborate with Product, Marketing and Customer Success to influence roadmap priorities based on real customer feedback.

Whatyou’llbring

• Oracle-focused presales, solutions consulting, or a comparable customer-facing revenue role with clear sales orientation.

• Deep, hands-on knowledge of Oracle Financials (EBS and/or Fusion Cloud). Experience spanning both environments is a strong advantage.

• Strong working understanding of Oracle’s native reporting and analytics capabilities (FSG, OBIEE, OTBI, Smart View, Fusion Analytics / FDI).

• Proven ability to deliver clear, confident, value-focused demonstrations to senior finance audiences (CFOs, Controllers, FP&A).

• Excellent discovery and qualification skills. You ask sharp questions, listenactivelyand reframe technical discussions in business and financial outcome terms.

• Strong commercial instinct and genuine enjoyment of selling. You create excitement, paint a compellingvisionand help customers see why change is worth it.

• Credibility and comfort engaging finance leadership as your primary audience.

• Willingness to travel across the UK and EMEA asrequired.

For sales roles, this range includes the commission target. For non-sales roles, this is a base salary only range; additional bonus eligibility may apply.

Your specific offer within this range will be determined by your skills, experience, and qualifications.
