We strive to instill in all of our employees:\nA positive mental attitude that helps us to be a leader in the industry\nA commitment to building strong relationships, both inside and outside the organization\nA desire to learn, grow, and contribute to moving our strategy forward\nA need to create and to innovate\nEmployment Type: Regular Full-Time\nShift: 1st Shift\nWork Status: On-site\nPosition Summary\nThe Assembler B performs a variety of routine duties involved in the assembly, loading, packaging, painting and testing of various items in the heat transfer product line.\nResponsibilities\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nWorks from drawings, travel tickets, and lean manufacturing visual control boards.\nUses a variety of power hand tools such as wrenches and impact guns, tubing expanders, paint guns and lift tables.\nAssembles items in the heat transfer product line in accordance with specifications. Works closely with Assembler A’s to assure conformance with procedures and quality standards.\nPaints, packages, straps, assembles and palletize finished goods.\nTests completed units on hydrostatic testing equipment. Monitors quality of work and reports equipment malfunctions, defective materials or other unusual conditions to supervisor.\nAs a certified forklift operator, operates material handling equipment as required to move heavy weight material.\nMaintains all necessary records. Moves average weight materials as necessary in the performance of job.\nMaintains a clean and organized work area per company housekeeping standards and 5S policies and procedures. Follows all safety regulations and procedures.\nPerforms other duties as required or directed\nQualifications\nRequired:\nAbility to frequently lift or move material weighing over 25 lbs. and up to 60 lbs.\nAptitude to follow verbal and written instructions.\nAbility to read and follow written procedures and use of drawings and specifications where some interpretation is required.\nKnowledge of basic math, including decimals and fractions.\nExperience using variety of power tools and material handling equipment\nPreferred:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nWork Environment\nThe Assembler B will work primarily in a production setting where safety equipment or personal protective gear is required.
