Summary\nTacten is actively seeking a full-time Resource Coordinator to support projects within the Fort McMurray, AB region.\nThis role is responsible for coordinating technician resources by contacting candidates from our internal resource pool, promoting project opportunities, verifying certifications and site qualifications, coordinating employee outreach for upcoming projects, scheduling within internal systems, confirming site requirements, and arranging IRATA training.\nThis position will be based in Fort McMurray, AB and will require site-based work.\nIf you are looking Needs\nAssessing project requirements and resource allocation needs\nCollaborating with project managers and stakeholders to understand resource needs\nConducting ongoing analysis of resource availability and skills\nResource Acquisition\nMaintaining an internal resource list/database\nActively reaching out to candidates on the internal resource list to determine their availability\nConducting interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills and suitability for different project opportunities\nResource Deployment\nProviding staff with clear communications/information regarding their work assignments\nMatching available resources to project opportunities based on their skills, availability, and project requirements\nCoordinating with project managers to ensure resources are efficiently and effectively allocated to projects\nManaging resource schedules, ensuring timely deployment and efficient utilization\nMaintaining documentation of resource assignments, updates, and changes\nCoordinating with HR and hiring teams to facilitate the onboarding process for new resources\nEffectively and quickly managing issues/conflicts/ priorities related to the planning, scheduling and dispatching of staff and equipment/resources to support a smooth work flow\nEnsuring applicable collective agreement provisions are consistently applied in the technician/client interaction\nResource Promotion and Engagement\nPromoting project opportunities to eligible candidates in the internal resource list\nCommunicating the benefits and details of project opportunities to candidates\nManaging communication and feedback between resources and project managers\nEncouraging and fostering an engaged and productive resource pool through regular communication and support\nIdentifying opportunities to improve staff satisfaction and engagement\nReporting and Analysis\nTracking and analyzing resource utilization metrics, including availability, utilization rates, and conflicts\nPreparing regular reports and insights to senior management regarding resource availability, allocation, and capacity constraints\nIdentifying trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement in resource management processes\nProviding recommendations and suggestions for optimizing resource allocation and utilization\nOther work duties as assigned.Requirements\nEDUCATION:\nPost-Secondary school diploma in a related field\nMinimum of 2 years industry related experience\nExperience in the NDT industry preferred\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:\nStrong understanding of company's service lines and technical offerings to effectively coordinate and deploy resources\nKnowledge of client technical requirements and workforce planning within industrial environments\nFamiliarity with industry trade associations, industrial trades, and unionized work environments\nWorking knowledge of the QCC Collective Agreement and related compliance requirements\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across internal teams, clients, and field personnel\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel\nExperience using scheduling systems and workforce coordination software\nExcellent organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\nDemonstrated commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and compliance with Occupational Health & Safety legislation, ISO standards, and company policies and procedures\nWorking Conditions\nExtended periods of sitting at a desk while working on a computer\nRegular use of hands and fingers for typing, data entry, and other computer
