From coastal communities and outdoor recreation to a strong sense of community and a lifestyle that keeps you close to home, the Atlantic Region offers an opportunity to build your career without leaving the region behind.\nTo support the local requirements of these projects, applicants must currently reside in Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, or Nova Scotia and be eligible to work in Canada.\nResponsibilities\nAssist with a variety of industrial maintenance, inspection, and repair activities while working at heights using rope access techniques.\n\nSafely use tools and equipment while performing tasks in a rope access environment.\n\nWork alongside experienced Rope Access Technicians and skilled tradespeople, gaining hands-on experience and developing technical skills.\n\nAssist with rope access rescue procedures when required and within the scope of your training and certification.\n\nCollaborate with crew members and other site personnel to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.\n\nFollow all company and site-specific safety procedures, including the proper use, inspection, and care of rope access equipment.\n\nRequirements\nWe are looking for motivated individuals who are eager to develop a career in rope access. Previous rope access experience is not required, and we encourage applicants who are interested in entering the industry to apply.\nIRATA Level 1 Certification or a willingness to obtain certification.\n\nCSO or BSO certification required.\n\nESC Confined Space Monitor and Entry certification required.\n\nESC Fall Protection certification is an asset.\n\nSkilled Labourer Ticket or previous industrial experience is an asset, but not required.\n\nStrong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn new skills.\n\nComfortable working at heights and interested in developing technical skills in an industrial environment.\n\nStrong commitment to safety, quality, and following established work procedures.\n\nAbility to work collaboratively with experienced technicians, tradespeople, and other crew members.\n\nGood communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.\n\nValid driver's licence and clean driver's abstract.\n\nMust reside in and be legally eligible to work in Canada.\n\nBenefits\nThe strength of Tacten lies in its outstanding people.
