This role will provide technical leadership across solution design, development, integration, release delivery, production support, governance, and platform optimization. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering expertise with the ability to mentor global teams and translate business needs into scalable, secure, and supportable Salesforce solutions. This role is a hybrid role coming to our headquarters office 2 days per week. \nAccountabilities & Responsibilities\nPlatform Leadership & Solution Delivery\nOwn the technical health, standards, documentation, and long-term maintainability of the core Salesforce platform.\nTranslate business objectives and product priorities into scalable technical designs and delivery plans.\nLead solution design, estimation, development oversight, code reviews, performance optimization, after-hours releases, and production support.\nEvaluate new Salesforce capabilities based on business value, risk, cost, security, and architectural fit.\nCore Salesforce Engineering\nDesign, build, and support solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flow, platform automation, and configuration.\nLead technical delivery across Health Cloud including case management, workflow automation, security, and sharing architecture.\nEstablish development standards, reusable patterns, code quality expectations, and technical governance.\nIdentify and address technical debt, performance risks, scalability concerns, and opportunities for platform simplification.\nIntegration, DevOps & Governance\nDesign and support integrations using REST APIs, middleware, and other patterns\nGuide CI/CD, source control, testing, release planning, deployment validation, and post-release monitoring using tools such as Gearset.\nEnsure solutions align with HIPAA, privacy, security, audit, data protection, access control, encryption, and retention requirements.\nPartner with Product, Architecture, Security, Data, and Integration teams to align solutions with enterprise standards and roadmaps.\nLead and mentor onshore and offshore Salesforce developers - no direct reports\nQualifications\nRequired:\n7+ years of technical development and administration experience in the Salesforce ecosystem\nDeep expertise across the Salesforce platform, with strong hands-on experience in Health Cloud.\nPlatform Developer I certification required; Platform Developer II, Application/System Architect certifications preferred.\nStrong hands-on experience with Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, platform automation, security, and sharing architecture.\nExperience designing Salesforce integrations using REST APIs, middleware, and event-driven patterns\nExperience with Gearset or similar tool, CI/CD, source control, testing, release management, monitoring, root cause analysis, and technical documentation.\nExperience leading Agile teams across onshore and offshore delivery models.\nStrong communication, stakeholder management, mentoring, and technical leadership skills.\nPreferred:\nExperience with Data 360/Data Cloud, AI-enabled solutions, and advanced Salesforce automation.\nExperience in healthcare, medical devices, life sciences, or another regulated industry.\nOur total compensation package includes medical, dental and vision benefits, retirement benefits, employee stock purchase plan, paid time off, parental leave, family medical leave, volunteer time off and additional leave programs, life insurance, disability coverage, and other life and work wellness benefits and discounts.
