That means high leverage, high autonomy, and every decision compounds.\nThe Role\nAs Principal Product Manager, you'll own the product strategy and execution across one of our initiatives: Growth & Distribution, Core AI Excellence, Team & Collaboration, and Monetization & Packaging.\nThis is a hands-on builder role. You'll prototype with AI tools, set up experiments, dig into analytics, talk to users weekly, and ship fast. You won't wait for engineering to build you a dashboard or data science to run your analysis-you'll do it yourself.\nThis isn't traditional PM work. No lengthy PRDs. No stakeholder management theater. This is: identify the problem, build the hypothesis, test it, learn, iterate. Repeat.\nWhat You'll Actually Do Day-to-Day\nBuild with AI: Prototype features using Cursor, Claude, Lovable, or internal tools. Test prompts. Ship MVPs.\n\nRun experiments: Set up A/B tests, define success metrics, analyze results, make the call.\n\nDeep dive analytics: Pull your own data in Mixpanel/SQL. Find the insight no one else sees.\n\nTalk to users: Weekly user interviews. Not quarterly research projects-continuous discovery.\n\nIterate fast: Ship → measure → learn → ship again. Weeks, not months.\n\nYou Might Be a Good Fit If You\nHave 8+ years in product roles, with at least 3+ years in B2B SaaS PLG\n\nHave built products with AI, not just managed AI products. You've engineered prompts, tested models, shipped AI features.\n\nAre deeply technical: Launched your own products, build dashboards, and write a PR if needed.\n\nHave set up and run A/B tests end-to-end: hypothesis, instrumentation, analysis, decision.\n\nDo continuous user research: You talk to users weekly. You can run a 20-minute interview that uncovers what surveys never would.\n\nIterate fast\n\nUnderstand PLG mechanics: activation, habit loops, expansion triggers. You've built products that grow themselves.\n\nAre a builder first: You'd rather ship a rough prototype today than a polished spec next week.\n\nBonus Points:\nYou've been a founding PM or sole PM at a high-growth or YCombinator startup\n\nYou have experience with Chrome extensions or browser-based products\n\nYou've built AI agents, MCPs, or workflow automations\n\nYou've worked on meeting/productivity/collaboration tools\n\nYou understand the Zoom, Google Meet, and Teams ecosystems\n\nWhy Join Tactiq\nEquity: Stock options are part of the package.
