An awesome team is waiting for you!\nWe are tado°, a growing scale-up that develops smart energy and climate solutions to make life at home more sustainable and comfortable.\nTo continue our growth, we are looking for a dedicated Team Lead Accounting (m/f/d) who combines hands-on accounting expertise with strong ownership and enjoys actively shaping the future of accounting processes.\nYour Impact:\nYou’ll lead the Accounting department with 3 team members from Junior to Senior and directly report to the Head of Finance.\n\nOversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/ receivable and fixed assets, and ensure timely and accurate monthly/ annual financial closings.\n\nPrepare and review monthly and annual financial statements (individual and group) in accordance with HGB and UGB (prospective maybe IFRS too), act as point of contact for auditors.\n\nEnsure compliance with tax regulations by coordinating and preparing tax returns (e. g. VAT, corporate tax, etc.) for domestic and foreign companies (Germany, Austria, UK, France, Italy), as well as ongoing assessment of tax issues in consultation with tax advisors.\n\nTake care of reporting requests from our stakeholders (e. g. sustainability).\n\nDrive continuous improvement of accounting processes, e. g. with platforms like Amazon, and internal controls.\n\nLead, coach, and develop the accounting team with your experience and expertise for ensuring high quality results.\n\nCollaborate closely with Controlling and other departments.\n\nWhat makes you a great fit:\nA completed commercial education or a business-related Bachelor’s degree, with 6+ years of relevant experience\n\nStrong knowledge of accounting standards (e. g.
