We help people love the way they look and feel for their most important moments by delivering personalized products and services through our convenient network of stores and e-commerce sites.\nAbout the Job\nWe currently have an exciting opportunity for Assistant Buyer to join our Men’s Wearhouse Merchandising team.\nWhat You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date buy plans and business records\nManage purchase orders accurately and timely\nTrack orders from placement through delivery, proactively identifying and resolving delays, discrepancies, and potential risks.\nManage drop ship business, including order execution, vendor coordination, and ongoing monitoring of performance.\nCoordinate and manage pricing updates, changes, and promotions\nPartner with Merchandise Assistant to coordinate sample requests, receipts, organization, and tracking.\nPrepare and analyze selling reports to monitor business performance.\nProvide actionable recommendations based on sales results, inventory levels, product performance, and emerging trends.\nCollaborate with vendors and internal partners to ensure accurate information, timely execution, and resolution of business issues.\nAdditional duties as assigned\nWhat You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising or similar preferred\n2+ years of allocation experience and buying or assistant buying functions strongly preferred\nThorough understanding of the Open to Buy process, as well as assortment planning experience\nThorough knowledge and understanding of GM%, MU% and GM$, sell thru, AUR\nStrong attention to detail with excellent analytical abilities\nStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills\nConsistent demonstration of professionalism, sound judgment, and integrity\nMotivated and able to work well independently, as well as an effective member of a team\nAbility to multi-task and provide timely follow up\nAbility to build solid relationships with teammates and business unit leaders\nProficient use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook\nPlease note that you do not need to qualify for all requirements to be considered. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications. Over time, and subject to performance, tenure, and evolving responsibilities, total compensation for this role may grow to as much as $100,000. Other compensation may include a 10% Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) bonus paid out according to policy.
