We are always working to make our Company a more diverse, equitable and inclusive place to work.\nAbout the Job\nWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Building Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of carpentry, painting and repair tasks. This role involves surface preparation, painting, basic carpentry, and support work on roof flashing projects. It also involves plumbing, piping, snow removal, landscaping/ ground maintenance and floor repair. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors, using ladders, and handling a range of tools and equipment.\nWhat You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities\n· Perform exterior painting tasks including scraping, sanding, caulking, and surface preparation\n· Apply paint and finishes to various surfaces with attention to quality and detail\n· Conduct window glazing and sealing as needed\n· Safely use ladders and work at heights in compliance with safety standards\n· Assist with roof flashing projects, including measuring, cutting, and installing materials\n· Participate in snow removal and landscaping/ grounds maintenance\n· Operate hand and power tools such as hammers, drills, saws, and screw guns\n· Transport, carry, and lift tools, materials, and equipment as required\n· Maintain a clean and organized work area\nSkills & Experience\n· Experience in exterior painting and surface preparation\n· Proficiency with hand tools and basic carpentry skills\n· Ability to measure, cut, and work with construction materials\n· Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions\n· Ability to safely use ladders and perform physical labor, including lifting and carrying\n· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship\nOther Duties: - This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. This role routinely involves standard carpentry equipment such as ladders, paint brushes, hammers, saws, drills etc.\nPhysical Qualifications:\nPhysical labor required, including lifting, carrying, and working at heights\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nBenefits\nThe starting salary for this position is $16.00 - $19.40 and may increase to $23.85 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary.
