Learn more at tailormed.co.\nAbout the Role:\nAs the Solutions Engineer, you will be an individual contributor and play a critical role in driving our company's growth by partnering with the sales team to understand customer needs, design the right technical solution, and effectively communicate the value proposition of our products and services to customers. You will be the technical voice in the sales cycle, responsible for leading technical discovery, discussing API, HL7 and FHIR integrations at depth, conducting product demos, architecting the right solution for each customer, crafting proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs), and responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs). Your expertise will be essential in ensuring our products align with both customer requirements and company capabilities and contribute to our overall sales success and company strategy.\nThis is a remote role based on the US East Coast, with less than 5% travel.\nResponsibilities\nSales Support: Collaborate closely with the sales team, providing them with technical insights and guidance to advance sales opportunities throughout the pre-sales process.\nTechnical Discovery: Lead technical conversations with customer IT, integration and security teams to understand their systems, data flows and integration requirements.\nSolution Architecture and Design: Work with customers to understand their business drivers, requirements, and challenges, and architect solutions that address their unique business problems, including integration design across APIs, HL7 v2 feeds, FHIR resources and file-based exchanges.\nProduct Demos: Conduct engaging and informative product demonstrations to customers, showcasing how our solutions meet their specific needs and deliver value.\nProposal and SOW Creation: Develop detailed proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs) that outline project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and pricing, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and company capabilities.\nRFP Responses: Prepare thorough and compelling responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and security questionnaires, addressing technical and business requirements to position our solutions as the best choice for the customer.\nHandoff to Implementation: Deliver a complete solution package to the implementation team, including requirements, integration specifications, assumptions and open items, to ensure a smooth transition from sale to delivery.\nCustomer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor throughout their decision-making process.\nMarket Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies to provide valuable insights and guidance to the product development team.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems), or equivalent experience.\nIn-depth understanding of the healthcare ecosystem and of cloud-based healthcare solutions - experience in the digital health space is a must.\n2+ years of experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, integration or technical consulting for a software solution, ideally one focused on the financial aspect of medication.\nStrong technical background with hands-on experience in REST APIs and integration concepts, and the ability to discuss them in depth with technical stakeholders and explain them clearly to non-technical ones.\nExperience with HL7 v2 and FHIR is a strong plus.\nKnowledge of EHR, practice management, pharmacy management and revenue cycle systems is a plus.\nExceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and marketing.\nExcellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively to design innovative solutions.\nKnowledge of project management methodologies and best practices is a plus.What we offer:\n\nCompetitive salary + equity\nPremium medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a wide range of voluntary and supplemental benefits, and 24/7 benefits access and support\n401(k) plan\nPaid holidays, vacation, and sick leave\nSix weeks of paid parental leave\nCompany-paid life insurance\nCompany provided equipment and technology you’ll need to be successful in your role\nThe opportunity to help shape the future of healthcare\nTailorMed is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
