In this role, you will oversee and promote safety awareness among employees and assure compliance with safety regulations and reporting. You will direct the day-to-day field operations for aerial and underground fiber construction, training and guiding field employees to keep up with daily operational needs.\nWhy TAK?\nFull Time (Mon-Fri from 7am-5pm with some evenings and weekends possible occasionally)\nPaid Weekly\nCompensation: $70K - $125K annually, DOE\nFull Benefits Package (Medical, Dental & Vision)\nVacation: 80 hours accrued annually\nSick Time Pay: Accrue 1 hour for every 30 hours worked\nHolidays: 6 paid holidays per calendar year\n401(k) with Company Match!\n25K Company Paid Life Insurance\nIndependent Work & Team Collaboration\nCareer Development & Advancement Opportunities!\nThe Role\nActs as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing concerns and driving resolution through completion\nBuilds and maintains relationships with local municipalities, jurisdictions, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and smooth project execution\nOwns job-site impact mitigation, ensuring minimal disruption to surrounding communities\nResponsible for overseeing and managing safety measures on every aerial and underground fiber construction project\nPromotes safety awareness among employees and assures compliance with safety regulations and reporting\nProvides quality internal and external customer service surrounding the “Company Values”\nDirects the day-to-day field operations through Foremen and Subcontractors, providing necessary technical guidance and leadership\nTrains and guides field employees to keep up with daily operational needs\nEnsures Company tracking methods and systems are implemented to measure productivity levels, coordinate with fleet and tool management\nWorks with field employees on assigned construction projects\nCommunicates with management and team members\nPromotes an environment of integrity and accountability and provides coaching and training to crews\nCompletes performance reviews for field employees to provide feedback and coaching\nOther job duties as assigned\nRequirements\n2-5 years of experience in the telecommunications fiber or construction industry\nKnowledge of aerial and underground fiber construction required\nThorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (equipment management, cost control, scheduling, and safety)\nA high school diploma, GED skills, or equivalent education certification is required (an equivalent combination of education and experience that is determined to be directly related to the position)\nExperience supervising/dispatching construction crews\nBasic computer skills with proficiency in MS Office applications and industry relevant software\nRequires deep knowledge of construction practices\nExperience with machine and equipment operation with safety protocols\nAble to perform duties in telecommunications construction such as pole transfers, maintenance builds, new build, cable installation, over lash, and strand construction\nMust demonstrate competency of reading and written communications skills sufficient to work safely with equipment and process requirements\nAbility to carry, climb, operate, and work upon an extension ladder (approximately 28 feet high and 75 pounds), ability to climb poles or other structures as needed.\nAbility to complete work outdoors, in tight spaces or elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, and working while standing up to 70% of the time, year round\nAbility to safely work and navigate various terrains, managing equipment, safety equipment and tools\nAbility to work with a noise level from moderate to loud\nExposure to outdoor all-weather conditions with limited protection from weather elements, including exposure to high heat, wind and rain\nExposure to hazards in worksite conditions, such as proximity to equipment in operation, moving vehicles, all underground utilities, including gas and electrical current and working with excavating shoring\n**Safety is our #1 Priority.
