As we scale from thousands to millions of candidate interactions, we’re expanding workflows, evolving our UI systems, and building new AI-powered capabilities for our customers.\nWe’re hiring a Software Engineer to help define the next generation of our platform, leading major feature initiatives, architecting scalable systems, evolving our frontend foundations, and helping set the technical standards that will carry us from thousands to millions of interactions.\nWhat You’ll Work On\nDesign and ship new product workflows end-to-end (DB → API → UI)\n\nBuild rich, responsive interfaces used across enterprise teams\n\nHelp evolve and scale our design system\n\nImprove performance and reliability as we scale from thousands to millions of interactions\n\nPartner closely with product and design to turn ambiguous ideas into elegant shipped solutions\n\nShape engineering standards, patterns, and technical direction as an early key team member\n\nWhy This Role Is Different\nHigh ownership: You’ll influence both what we build and how we build it.\n\nProduct exposure: Engineers here shape roadmap decisions - not just implementation details.\n\nScale inflection point: You’ll help architect systems before and during rapid growth.\n\nCareer growth: As the product expands, so does your scope - technical leadership, architecture ownership, or broader product influence.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nWe care more about impact than pedigree - but here’s what tends to work well:\nYou likely have:\nExperience building production software, ideally across the stack, from database design and API contracts through frontend implementation.\n\nStrong frontend depth in React and TypeScript, including architecting complex user interfaces, managing state thoughtfully, and building systems that remain maintainable as the product grows.\n\nExperience designing and consuming APIs, with an understanding of data modeling, performance tradeoffs, and how to structure services for clarity and scalability.\n\nExperience building backend services (Node.js or similar) and making pragmatic architectural decisions as systems scale.\n\nExperience significant product initiatives, working cross-functionally to define scope, make tradeoffs, and deliver high-quality systems in fast-moving environments.\n\nYou might also have:\nBuilt or evolved a design system\n\nExperience with real-time systems (WebSockets, streaming, voice)\n\nFamiliarity with LLM-powered features or AI-driven applications\n\nExperience scaling distributed systems or high-throughput applications\n\nWe recognize that strong candidates may not match every qualification listed above.
