You'll be joining a team powered by Takealot Group's core values. \nPurpose of the role :To oversee and manage the overall operations of the outbound returns facility, ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely movement of returned goods from the warehouse.To ensure all operational processes related to outbound\nlogistics and returns are executed within budget, in compliance with company standards, and in line with service level agreements (SLAs). To lead and support the warehouse team in achieving performance targets, maintaining high standards of health, safety, and cleanliness. To drive continuous improvement, optimise systems and procedures, and contribute to overall business efficiency and customer satisfaction.\nThis position reports to the :Hub Manager\nYour responsibilities can include:\nBe responsible for the overall running of the facility and all other secondary roles which flow from this function\nEnsure operations costs are in line with budget\nEnsures the on-time delivery of product to/from the distribution centre\n Responsible for implementation and effective utilization of system(s) which will ensure that all product within the warehouse and/or entering or leaving the warehouse is accurately identified and distributed/delivered timeously\n Ensure efficient warehousing with timeous movement of product.\n Extracts data and generates reports which will assist in performance tracking and decision making.\n Ensure consistent application of Company policies and procedures.\n Trains and supervise employees to carry out the functions under their control.\n Implement and maintain health and safety standards\n Must continually work to promote the orderliness and cleanliness of the work area and other company standards\n Identifies value-creation opportunities for the company in the movement and distribution of the product.\n Works closely with senior management and Human Resources to resolve issues and ensure quality service to our customers.\n Oversee maintenance, repairs, or replacements for machines.\n Perform all other duties as assigned.\n Qualifications and Experience:\nMatric\nTertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field - Advantageous\n4-5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or outbound distribution.\nProven experience in supervising or managing warehouse teams.\nHands-on involvement in returns handling, outbound logistics, and system-driven operations\nAttributes required :\nAbility to implement and manage warehouse systems effectively\nAbility to train, supervise, and motivate staff\nAbility to identify and implement process improvements\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively\nAbility to adapt to change and maintain high performance standards\nWhy Join TFS:\nPurpose-driven impact: Transform lives through logistics innovation\nAdvanced technology: Work with cutting-edge systems in a fast-paced environment\nCareer growth: Thrive in an agile space that champions continuous improvement\nInclusive culture: Your unique perspective drives extraordinary results\nAt TFS, your growth is our growth.
